100,000 cases of coronavirus already in Ohio

Ignore their calls to forgive and never forget what the experts did to us:

So no, I will not forgive and forget, and neither should anyone else. These were not innocent mistakes, but the result of a plan to exploit people’s fears–fears that the elites did everything to stoke–for their own benefit. Trillions of dollars were transferred from ordinary people to billionaires, children suffered enormous learning loss, lives were ruined, literally. People still cannot enter the US (legally) without a COVID vaccine. It is insane.
As long as they keep Novak Djokovic out of the states, we’ll all be safe.

Teachers’ Union President Randi Weingarten Backs Call for ‘Amnesty’ on COVID Policies

Randi Weingarten, president of the powerful American Federation of Teachers (AFT), backed a call by the Atlantic on Monday to declare an “amnesty” for those who pursued mistaken policies on COVID-19 that led, among other things, to harm to children. The article, by economist Emily Oster, notes that policymakers were operating in a challenging environment: “Given the amount of uncertainty, almost every position was taken on every topic. And on every topic, someone was eventually proved right, and someone else was proved wrong.” Oster has unique credibility on this topic, since she compiled her own data set on schools and the pandemic when the federal government declined to do so. However, her call for amnesty — right before an election in which voters are about to deliver a verdict on Democrats’ aggressive pandemic policies, among other issues — triggered outrage and ridicule on social media.

Nope, they must be held accountable.

No amnesty. They get a pass for the decisions they made in Feb - May 2020 - with the exception of placing infected seniors back in nursing homes - but they must be held accountable for the decisions they made after May 2020.

These "professionals" are tasked with the responsibility of protecting us during a public health crisis and they're well paid to do so. They failed us miserably on covid. They did the one thing they must never do - make the situation far worse by their decisions.

No Amnesty. Consequences of actions is responsibility of authority. There is NO government authority that is allowed dictatorial power in all levels government within the USA. These people abused their power and took dictatorial power for themselves in the name of COVID…. NOPE.

Not only was keeping our schools closed after the spring of 2020 child abuse and highly destructive to education it did NOTHING to reduce the very few kids who did die of/with covid:

The Y axis (0 - 100 deaths) of the graph is Child Deaths per Million. The X axis (0 - 100 %) is Percent of 2020/21 Kids Spent IN School

763 children between the ages of 5 and 17 died with COVID between January 2020 and last month, according to the federal data. That’s about two percent of the 32,101 children who died during the same period. For example, 137 died of the flu, and 232 died with pneumonia, but not COVID. Another CDC data set, which breaks out the data differently, indicated that some young people who died with COVID actually simply had COVID while they died of other causes, such as injury or heart failure.

What is astonishing to me is how these people double down on their mistakes. Masking children will cause more damage then the respiratory viruses they are so afraid of. Not least because children do not wear masks properly so even the slight benefits they might convey, and they are slight, would not be seen in this demographic. What next, close the schools down again?

America's leading Public Health Care "experts" all want this country to be China so bad it hurts:

Notice the presumption buried in Dr. Jha’s answer: it’s up to the Public Health™ experts to decide when and how Americans can “move on” from COVID. Individuals have no agency; they are subjects of state whose behavior is dictated by technocrats who make decisions for them. Their adulthood is swapped for a sort of biomedicalized infancy, in which they are not trusted to live their own lives and make their own risk assessments.

Fauci recently had the audacity to even suggest shutting schools down again — likely just to put out a feeler to see what more draconian measures the feds can get away with and to gauge the public backlash that the proposition might spur.

This is how power-hungry technocrats always operate. Push, push, push to the breaking point, take the foot off the gas temporarily to release the pressure, and then go back to pushing as soon as the public is lulled back into apathy.

Looks like Dr. Jha needs to join Fauci on the gallows.

My county, Holmes, has the lowest 7 day average of COVID cases in the state: 1

That is interesting since our vaccination rate is the lowest in the state and had the least compliance in the state with mitigation mandates and recommendations.

But, there is another factor: very few people will submit to testing or seek a doctor's help with a suspected infection, so that "1" is probably only a fraction of the actual cases.
