Maybe they were unintended outcomes but they never should have been unanticipated. The shame of the covid lock downs and the complicity of the worlds "public health" establishments:

Mariners fans showered coronavirus czar Anthony Fauci with boos as he prepared to throw out the first pitch during Tuesday’s game

The controversial head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases threw out the first pitch between the Mariners and the New York Yankees at T-Mobile Park in Seattle.

Fauci lobbed a sky-ball to catcher Scott Servais amid a shower of boos, according to the Independent Journal Review.

Along with tossing out the ceremonial first pitch, the team also awarded the virus scold and mask zealot with their Hutch Award, created in honor of MLB pitcher Fred Hutchinson, who died of lung cancer on 1965.

The award which was “established by his longtime friends and is given annually to an active MLB player who ‘best exemplifies the fighting spirit and competitive desire’ of Hutchinson, by persevering through adversity,” has been given out annually since.
I'd ask for that money back if I was a "Hutch" scion or friend, if it came from them, or ask the Mariners to change the name retroactively if it is team money.

Yes they were:

Critics of the pandemic school closures have been vindicated.

They warned the closures would cause serious, possibly irreversible, developmental retardation. They warned of severe learning loss.

Alas.

The critics were not just ignored, they were also maligned by a vicious cabal of politicians, news media personalities, and education professionals, most notably American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten. The critics were called monsters and "grandma killers." They were accused of not "trusting" the science.

"Children are resilient," the pro-closure camp smugly asserted. (No, it’s not that children are resilient. It’s that they don’t yet have the words to describe the ways in which you are harming them.)

Now, a little more than two years after the pandemic first came to America, new data confirm the mass school closures, which, by the way, Democratic politicians and teachers' unions enforced with a religious fever even long after the restrictions were shown to be little more than superstitious hocus-pokery, caused serious harm to young students.

Anyone from the cult want to comment on this?

The only study that shows masking provided protection against covid has been officially discredited:

The study in question raises intriguing questions about the role of public health interventions in changing behavioral patterns to decrease COVID case rates in low- and middle-income countries. The mask intervention was highly effective at modifying behaviors (distancing, mask-wearing, symptom reporting). Nonetheless, the data is consistent with mask wearing having modest or no direct effect on COVID-related outcomes in this experimental setting.

Masking provided no protection from covid for children. Here's a lay persons summary of an important scientific study:

Here's the study with its key conclusion:

In conclusion, FCM mandates in schools showed no significant differences in terms of transmission. Conversely, we found that age is a key component explaining transmission in children. Considering the non-effectiveness of FCM mandates found in our quasi-experimental approach, and the negative impact on children’s health of some measures implemented to mitigate transmission, such as school closures,31 32 policymakers should ensure that all measures within schools are evaluated (including school closures, home schooling, bubble groups, ventilation, test and trace, etc), and that the risks and benefits of such interventions are balanced.

Child abuse:

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci admitted Wednesday that he knew the “draconian” COVID-19 policies he pushed for would lead to “collateral negative consequences” for the “economy” and “schoolchildren.”

Fauci’s comments followed a bombshell education report from earlier this month revealing that COVID-19 lockdowns, which led to school closures and virtual learning polices, resulted in what the Department of Education said was “the largest average score decline in reading since 1990, and the first ever score decline in mathematics” among the nation’s schoolchildren.

If the Republicans gain control of Congress this Fall, and this guy isn't exposed, shamed, and jailed, then something is seriously wrong.

If possible I would find a new health care service. Whether it's your doctor, a specialist or the facility they reside in requiring masking at this point is a display of their ignorance. And if they're ignorant about this what else relating to your health are they also ignorant?

I went to my dentist and they still have a masking policy- wear it when you walk in or no service. I told the receptionist no one is enforcing this anymore. She said it’s their policy. I reminded her that in 5 minutes, I’m going to have my mouth open for about an hour and how good is the stupid mask policy then? She said she doesn’t make the rules. I said common sense doesn’t exist either.
A world of idiots surround us.

I may. I hadn’t been to any doctor office in at least 2 years so I just went shopping from my providers list.
