Who wins it?
Gotta be honest, that ain’t much of a rivalry.-SERIES RECORD-
Massillon Washington Tigers @ Mansfield Senior Tygers
This will be the 53rd football game in between these schools. Massillon leads the series 43-4-5. Mansfield represents the 4th longest rivalry in Tiger history.
You can look at it that way. However, a team that you have played 52 times, regardless of the outcome, can be considered a rivalry.Gotta be honest, that ain’t much of a rivalry.

honestly, we may not win a game this season after just 1 last yearShould be a good game. Mansfield with 2 nice wins over teams that are relatively down. Massillon has the talent edge but has some things to work on for sure. I still give it to Massillon.
I’m assuming this game is at Arlin? That’s my second favorite stadium behind PBTS. LC played at Arlin in 1992 and stomped Lima Bath. There was a brawl at the end of the game between the teams. LC went on to win the Division III State Championship that season.
Go Massillon!
Not really.. Ohio state and Indiana have played more than 50 times and no one considers that a rivalry. You can look at it that way. However, a team that you have played 52 times, regardless of the outcome, can be considered a rivalry.
Is it a William Blake reference? What is the history behind the TYGERS spelling?? Also Steubenville Harding is ok but the site lines on the visitor side are not good..unless you sit at top of bleachers.
I was thereI wish I was alive to see the beating of 1912. Sounds like we all missed a doozie.
Hoover is interesting. Phila is gorgeous. For some reason I’ve never have been a huge fan of Hoover’s stadium. Maybe it’s just because of that damn visiting locker room.Arlin field is one of my top 3 favorite high school stadiums, Hoover and New Phila are the other 2.
This should be a close game, but the TIG tigers should have a slight edge over the TYG tigers.
Hate Hoovers stadiumHoover is interesting. Phila is gorgeous. For some reason I’ve never have been a huge fan of Hoover’s stadium. Maybe it’s just because of that damn visiting locker room.
Yeah I can’t say I’m a fan either.Hate Hoovers stadium
