Renacci to primary Dewine

I hate losing to Navy at anything. The SEALS are really good at what they do. Delta Force is the equivalent of the SEALS in the Army.
How is admitting the Teams are the baddest mo fo we have losing to te Navy?
They are all on team USA

It is just good natured humor. Army vs. Navy. SEAL TEAM 6 has the major name recognition.
DEVGRU.
That's their real name.
Richard marchinko gave them the Team Six name to make our enemies believe we had more than we really did. Navy Special Warfare distanced themselves from him awhile ago and while growing the Teams they named the Elite squad DEVGRU.

Is Renacci better? I dont have much faith in any Pubs.. most of them are menches.
I think he is a principled guy, but ive been fooled before, so I share your cynicism of Republicans.

I despise DeWine. It's not personal. I don't want him harmed. It's political hate - similar to sports hate.

It's the talking conservative, but playing footsie with the Left and the media, and governing as slightly restrained liberals that gives me heartburn. It's the Little Mikes, McCains, Romneys, Liz Cheyneys, etc of the world that stick in my craw and I have a group I am very distrustful of and am prepared to move into the hated group: McCarthy, Cocaine Mitch, Lindsay Gramnesty, etc.

I know what Little Mike Jun Un is. I will be happy to give Renacci a chance to show me what he is.

I suspect that in rural Ohio, you could run a skunk against DeWine and the skunk would pull 80% of the vote. Lol

I haven't looked real close at him. I've seen signs for a year.

Here is my hesitation, and you can try to allay my concerns if you want:

I voted in a president who was not a politician. There were things I loved about him - he took the fight to the media and Left and punched them in the mouth, he was on my side on every major policy I care about, and it was fun to see the Left lose their minds.

He caused all kinds of unnecessary problems by shooting off his mouth with inartful words and sentences; he handed tons of ammo to his enemies; he had no idea how to hire a staff and run a govt, so there was chaos (esp at the beginning but throughout); he inspired opposition so ardent that they were willing to perpetrate hoaxes, break laws, and even commit treason; in 4 years he made 20 million more Americans hate his guts and vote against him; he made outrageous claims about the 2020 election being stolen but never offered any proof, thereby undermining trust in our elections; he asked GA voters to not trust their elections which caused conservative voters to stay home and allowed a corrupt race pimp and a socialist to hand the Senate to the Dems; and he inspired a political riot that he did not intervene well or soon enough, and when he did intervene, he talked out of both sides of his mouth. And all that kind of stuff gave us Brandon, God help us.

So, even tho political experience does tend to correlate with corruption, it also tends to deliver someone who can maneuver the political land mines and run a govt with a fair degree of competence.

I'm sure Blystone is a fine and honest man. I highly doubt he has the political skills or the knowledge to run a state government competently.

It's my opinion he will be elected. I still believe Trump won the election, so what do I know. Enemies so powerful they rigged an election. Statistical analysis will back my claim. But, the word anomaly is always applicable. Funny thing is no one wants to dismiss the analysis.

I get misunderstood. My opposition to the "stop the steal" rhetoric was that the evidence was never provided. There are several terms that can be applied when allegations are made without proof, but "unsubstantiated" is one of the kinder ones.

I was open to seeing evidence then and I am open to it now. Seeing none to date, I have to reject the allegation as something between unproven and totally false.

But if fraud that changes the outcome of an election is alleged, we have all kinds of legal and constitutional ways to redress it. Canvassing ballots, challenging questionable ballots, recounts, and lawsuits. Trump took advantage of all of these things and when all challenges were resolved, the legal authorities in the states where the allegations were directed certified the vote, and the appropriate electors were assigned to go and vote their state's will in the electoral college. All of that is what our constitution provides, it was exercised, and it delivered a result.

I believe the Dems cheat in every election in a variety of ways and now they can use powerful social media platforms to be their allies in suppressing their opponents messaging, controlling the public discourse, and influencing what undecided voters see and hear to shape their perceptions toward Dems.

But when every ballot can be looked at, it's really hard, pretty much impossible, to get enough illegitimate votes counted that amount to tens of thousands of votes, without it being detected and obvious.

If fraud occurred that changed the outcome of the election, it would have to be done through the voting machines changing the votes for one candidate to the other candidate. Sydney Powell, Rudy, and several right wing media folks alleged this, promised there was proof, never delivered it, and now are being sued by Dominion. Lol.

If that had happened, I would expect that the Trump campaign would have found thousands of voters who voted for Trump, but were counted as Biden votes. Lacking them, I have to assume they don't exist. And this would have been caught during the recanvassing.

For these reasons and more, I'm not buying. On a very basic level of reasoning, comparing 16 and 20, I believe in Trump's ability to attract 12 million new votes for him and 20 million new votes against him. That would seem to be the most logical explanation. FWIW

Understood For me it boiled down to 5 areas of fraud. Atlanta,Philadelphia,Milwaukee, Detroit and Maricopa.
Statistics
Incumbent reelection percent.
Ohio percentage of picking President
Florida percentage of picking President
Bell weather counties percentage of picking President
Trump received the highest vote for a Incumbent. Ever
Trump packed events, Biden never campaigned.
Benford's Law
Some other issues, but not as important. States Control their elections and what's done is done. Once the States and Congress certified it was over. Follow the money and here is one of the players.

DeWine like Portman, Kasich, Gonzalez and now Timken is a conservative GOP member....not nearly enough crazy for today's GQP in Ohio. Maybe if he embraced magnetic Covid conspiracies or the kissed trumps boots he would have a better chance with the crazy caucus.
We dont need "conservatives" who are useful idiots for the left.

I saw that thing about Zuckerberg. I read Molly Hemingway's book. She goes into considerable detail on how voters were influenced and directed by a variety forces, including the programs funded by the Facebook nerd.

It's been interesting to see how both parties are hammering the big social media platforms. It doesn't make sense that the Dems are doing it, but Ben Shapiro says the parties are doing it for exactly opposite reasons. The Dems want MORE censorship and "misinformation" control = anything that contradicts the Left. Conservatives want the platforms to be fair and impartial free speech vehicles, not censors.

Something is going to happen. Either the titans of tech will stop being tools for the Left or conservatives will have to abandon them and join free speech platforms that are in the works.

Circling back, what is our bet going to be on whether Blystone is elected governor?

I can put up dinner at Der Dutchman in Walnut Creek and 2 pounds of Uncle Mike's Beef Jerkey (best jerkey in the world).

?

I will be honest I have not eaten at Der Dutchman in quite a while, but I have tasted the food at their competitors and I can not remember a time the meal cost me 60 for my wife and I. I have pushed the number up a little at times eating at Bags, my wife really likes that place. Something about not being fake Amish food.

Well, it depends on what you order, but 2 buffets are almost 40 bucks, 2 drinks, 2 desserts, and tip gets you to 60 pretty easy.

I suppose if you ordered something lite off the menu, drank water, waved off pie and ice cream, and was a stingy tipper, you would come in well under 60, but most people want the boasted chicken, roast beef, ham, mashed potatoes, etc.

Bags is a great way to get away from Amish food. They have great steaks, burgers, etc.

I live 2 miles north of Der Dutchman so I go by almost daily and see people lined up for an hour's wait outside and just shake my head. There is hardly any food worth waiting that long for. But when people come here, they want to hit one of those Amish food restaurants. I guess it's part of the experience. We only go to DD when tourists are not in town.

We use to visit Mrs. Yoders every time we were in Amish country seems we have tired of the best pressure fried chicken of all. Use to be called broasted till I believe Bob Evans copyrighted the word and asked them to stop using it. By the way, I can not remember a time when West Homes played better football.

Mrs.Yoders is owned by my neighbor. She is, literally, Mrs Yoder! Lol. Lost her husband a few months ago.

Dutch Valley, Der Dutchman, and the Farmstead are basically the same restaurant run by the same corporation. Mrs Yoders and the Amish Door are independent from those and are a little different.

We are really excited about what the Knights are doing. I'm more a fan of Garaway, who is having a great season as well. Both of those schools have excellent head coaches and have built their programs the right way. They are set up for long term success - as long as the coaches in the stands don't interfere. Lol.

Have never been to a football game of either school but we had close friends whose kids went to Belin Hiland and enjoyed going and watching them play basketball even went to Columbus to watch them play a couple of times. I have had the privilege of meeting both Mrs. Yoder and her son, but never Mr. Yoder.

Hiland is undefeated all-time in football. We are also winless. Lol. We play futbol.

The basketball programs have been really amazing over a long period of time. My son and dau played in 4 final fours between them and 3 state championship games. I doubt too many kids and families in Ohio can say that! Really blessed.

New girls coach this year, replacing the Legend. Saw the new coach at church last week and reassured him that I was totally behind him... until he loses a game. He said, "Thanks a lot." Lol.

I miss the San-dar smorgasbord. That place was awesome. I couldn’t eat like that anymore anyway, but my sons…..
