i dont know how many teams will be in it, but im guessing the Gold will have 8-12 teams? silver have 8, and bronze will have 4-8 teams

my top 3

St. X
La Salle
Darby

A lot of who wins may have to do with what teams have a lot of juniors taking the ACT... Sad but true since they are that saturday morning... But either way should be a fun tourney

The past 2 years, they've had 8 teams in Gold, 8 in Silver, and the rest in Bronze. I would imagine they cap the tourney at 24 teams since they have 6 courts (6 pools of 4 teams on Friday), however, they have had less than 24 teams there each of the past 2 years.

There will be only a gold and silver bracket on saturday...today or tomrrow is when the pools are released...I heard the club team from Kentucky is coming and the team that moeller played in the finals at st.charles is also coming

Are you saying that there are only 16 teams coming? I club team from Kentucky would not be coming because they are also in high school season. Louisville Trinity is the team that travels to Ohio the most often, but I've also seen Louisville St Xavier once or twice, so it's probably one of those two schools. Moeller beat La Salle in the finals of St Charles.

akron hoban will not be attending the wolf invitational.

they play @ moeller thursday night. @ fairborn friday night. and @ fairmont saturday morning. i think the saturday morning match at fairmont is a tri-match with centerville as well; but im not sure on that one.

what is up with hoban dropping out of all of these tourneys...they were supposed to be at st. charles too...

I meant Walsh not Hoban my bad...

Pools are set for the Kilbourne Tourney. In my opinio they are all pretty week except for Pool D which has LaSalle, Ed's, and Pick North in it. It should be a really competitive tournament though so good luck to all competing in it and let's hope that no one gets hurt.

Pools

Pools for Friday have been posted.

Pool A
Dublin Jerome
Worthington Kilbourne
St. Charles
???????????? (guess they haven't found a 16th yet)

Pool B
Hilliard Darby
Gahanna Lincoln
Westerville North
Walsh Jesuit

Pool C
St. Xavier
Stow
Hilliard Davidson
Upper Arlington

Pool D
St. Edwards
Pickerington North
LaSalle
Deleware Hayes

Pool D is stacked like crazy with St. Eds PN and LaSalle
The other pools look pretty even though

I'm all for Kilbourne giving themself a relatively easy draw, but come on. Pool D has 3 teams better than the best team in pool A.

Edit: I partially take that back....I just saw some of the OCC scores, and it appears if PN, Kilbourne, and Jerome are all about even. However, La Salle or Ed's should have been the 4th #1 seed.

Leezy...kilbourne first...kilbourne...the tournament isn't happening til the next day...KILBOURNE MATCH FIRST...then we can get excited about the tournament

wow pool D is crazy...i feel bad for delaware hayes. Pool B will also be sweet. Cant wait till Friday.

I agree that Kilbourne should give themselves an "easy" draw. It's their tournament they shouldn't have to be in a stacked bracket. Maybe a good team dropped out though that was suppossed to be in their bracket? Who knows. The tournament will be awesome.

Yea one of the teams dropped out, I think it was Hoban??? not sure if I heard correctly tho.

16 is small amount of teams for this tourney but it doesn't surprise me. Kilbourne uses their JV team as line judges/help run the tournament. Kilbourne has no JV team this year and would therefore put tremendous strain on the tournament directors to find help to run things.

For both days teams will be asked to assist in line judging and score flipping when not playing. All teams need to supply their own scorebook and scorebook keeper throughout the match.

that is what the email said that was sent out with the pools

Predictions anybody?

I'll take Kilbourne, St Charles, Darby, Westerville North, St X, Davidson, St Eds and La Salle in the Gold.

Then from there I rank them
1 St Edward
2 La Salle
3 St Xavier
4 Darby
5 Kilbourne
6 Westerville North
7 St Charles
8 Davidson

Since I dont know who would play who, I can't really predict which four teams would make semis and which 2 would make finals.

i'll agree with you for who will make gold...except maybe jerome might take st. charles spot... we'll see...really sucks for pickerington north, because they got a really stacked pool and they are a gold caliber team

1. St. Eds
2. La Salle
3. Darby
4. Kilbourne
5. X (minus Kurtz apparently, otherwise move them to 3 and everybody else up 1)
6. West North
7. Jerome
8. Davidson
