The Internship 4.5/8
-pretty generic but Wilson/Vaughn are so good together that it had some moments

The Conjuring - 5/8
-Had old school horror feel to it, not quite as good as I was expecting but still really well done

Prisoners - 6/8
-Great performances and legit tension throughout

Bitter Feast (US-2010)

A chefs career is destroyed as a food critic gives him a bad review and his cooking show goes under. Well, he seeks revenge on the critic in this pretty sweet indie flick.... 5.5/8

The Poughkeepsie Tapes (US-2007)

YES! It is a found footage film!!!!!!! I am definitely a fan of these types of films. Detectives are tracking down the serial killer known as The Water Edge Butcher and as they close in finding his home they find that he has left behind a stack of VHS tapes that document him stalking, capturing, torturing, and butchering his victims. The first 20 to 30 minutes wasn't that great in fact I felt like turning it off but boy I am glad I didn't. There were definitely some very intriguing scenes on these tapes and this was one of my favorites.... 5.0/8

Some locals wrote an anthology in which each writer supposes those post nuclear monsters existed and were used by the various nations to fight the cold war.... I'm hoping to pick it up. Even if it's just locals writing, it's an interesting idea.

That has my interest as well. Everyone is local to somebody so who knows how good this could be.

The Great Gatsby 5/8

Pretty cool from from a visual/musical standpoint. Leo was good. I love the novel but I think its kind of bizarre material to move onto film myself and the two adaptations thus far have kind of proven that.

I thought the Redford version was awesome. Didn't care for the newer one, thought DiCaprio was good in it.

Thought the Redford version was awful. Agree with Hubbs than it's not a novel that translates well to film.

Zero Dark Thirty: 5/8

Kind of dragged for me until the end. Only Oscar-worthy because of the subject matter

Prisoners: 5/8 - Thought it was Gyllenhaal, not Jackman, who gave the film's best performance.

Nebraska: 6.5/8 - I love most of Alexander Payne's flicks, and this one was no different. Pretty hilarious.

I agree about Gyllenhaal. I was really surprised given his recent track record, but he brought his A game. Where is Nebraska playing? The Esquire?

Wolf of Wall Street - 6.5/8

The first hour was the funniest of any movie I can remember. The scene with McConaughey had me in tears. No doubt the most outrageous movie I have ever seen. Only complaint was it started to feel pretty long towards the end, imo they could have cut out some of the scenes or made them a bit shorter. Hoping for more of Margot Robbie in the near future. Gotdamn

Also lol at all of those Kevin Costner movies. Out of 5 previews, Costner was the lead role in 3 of them. The Browns movie  I checked on imdb and Costner has been in 12 movies total since 2002, and is already in 5 for 2014. Must be running low on cash

Also a conservative looking 60ish year old couple got up and walked out of the theater not long after Leo sniffed coke out of the girl's butthole.

The Thirteenth Reunion (UK-1980)

A newspaper reporter becomes suspicious about a weight loss clinic in which an over weight man dies each month.... 4.0/8

Wreckage (US-2010)

Jessie from Breaking Bad is in it but man this was just awful and that is coming from me. 4 friends break down after drag racing and end up at a wreckage yard after hours........ 1.5/8

I thought it was alright. I liked it, but I don't seem as in love with it as many on here, or IRL. I was tired though, so maybe I need to watch it when I'm a little more alert.

I don't see how a movie like that could be better when you already know what happened.

Revolutionary Road- 5/8. Solid performance by Leo, but 2 hours of him and Kate Winslett screaming at each other gets old. I can't help but think they could have cast someone better than Winslett. I like Michael Shannon's character, as strange as he was.

At World's End: 5/8
-better than I thought it was gonna be, these guys are just good at making movies together

"Lawless"

Shia LaBeouf
Tom Hardy
Jason Clark

A sadistic Chicago lawman comes to 1931 Virginia to shut down the Bondurant brother's bootlegging business. Best movie I've seen in a while.

7/8

Paranormal Activity 4 (US-2012)

The story continues, this time the sequel to PA2 where we learn what happens to Hunter. Another family, everything is A OK until the new neighbors move in and they are forced to take care of their strange little boy. I love these films... part 5 will be out this year!!!! ... 5.5/8

The Incredible Shrinking Man (US-1957)

A man comes in contact with a strange mist and starts to shrink!!! 5.0/8

Deadly Instincts (US-1997)

An alien monster crashes into an old building and impregnates the female residents... 3.5/8
