Rewatching the X-Files currently. Such a great show in its first couple seasons.

Fosse/Verdon.

There are not too many musical theater fans here but this couple basically laid the road map to the choreography for the 2nd half of the 20th century on Broadway. Real interesting back story too that showed how easy it was for straight dudes to get women in that business. At times drags but for the most part ecent series that garnered Michelle Williams an Emmy as Gwen Vernon.

A look at civiliation from the beginning of time. I couldn't pick only one quote to describe it. The war with the cows was enlightening. We hadn't covered that in my classes.

Philomena Cunk (Diane Morgan) interviews serious academics (I googled to check, not actors) and their keeping straight faces is the fun part for me. Plus some terrific scenery, maybe. Worth it if you can find it. It says BBC-Netflix but it's not on my Netflix.

Check Netflix now. Five episodes released Jan 31, 2023. Hoping she will do more, these are great!

Diane was great in After Life on Netflix as well.

Watching Cunk the first time, I didn't realize it was an actress playing Cunk. I thought it was a real person, comedian for sure but one named "Cunk." There are so many twisted quotables in those shows.

I suppose they could claim "british humor" but since she's supposedly mimicing Lucill Ball.... It's popular somewhere, getting good rating. I dont see any charisma in the lead. Her roommate has some charm.
