Yappi undefeated week for league?

My personal ranking the SLA at this point:

Highland
Aurora
Barberton
Kent Roosevelt
Tallmadge
Revere
Copley
Cuyahoga Falls

IMO, Aurora could jump Highland. Kent could jump Barberton. The bottom 4 could change in any order.

I’m not super familiar with Copley football, but did they lose their whole varsity team to graduation and have a very young team? I wasn’t expecting Firestone to put 53 points on them. And Copley was up 14-0 at one point. The Falls didn’t even get beaten that bad by Firestone.

Copley has been bad for a while now. They had one player last year and he transferred to Massillon

Copley scored a decent amount of points last year and gave up a ton of points. Probably in the top 10 for most points given up. In 8/11 games, they gave up 45+ points. Four games gave up 60+.

They were able to score points too but not enough to make up for those defensive numbers. Looks like the defense hasn't improved much.

Can't find Aurora/West Geauga or Revere/Ravenna

The 2 schools that seem to reload every year are Highland and Aurora. Strong youth programs over the last 20 years is the main reason. Barberton is a little less consistent but usually good. Tallmadge lost almost everyone to a graduating class that was it’s best in many years. Can they compete this year in the SLA? Everyone in the Conference should be rooting for CFalls to win it’s non conference schedule. The Suburban didn’t do the high level American teams any favor by moving the Black Tigers into the American Division because teams get virtually no 2nd level playoff computer points from them every year.
Does it matter much with 16 teams?
