How many State Championships? Lol
 
dude everybody knows Massillon is O for 50 or 51 however many years the OHSAA has held a post season tournament.

thus it is the Municipal Quest, the reason for the town to exist, its mission, and sole purpose, in the world.

the rest of the world understands it means absolutely nothing and when a local school wins a tournament in girl's softball (Massillon has never won a tournament in any OHSAA in any sport)

they go YAY and then move on. they know it really doesn't MEAN anything its just for fun, entertainment to keep the kids busy and out of trouble.
 
Wow… 50-28 is pretty good. Too bad the mighty tigers couldn’t win the one that counts the most! Two of the top three have OHSAA state titles.

Some food for thought on the topic. Steubenville is 72-31 in the playoff era with 4 titles, 5 runner ups and 18 final four appearances. We have some AP Championships as well but we don’t really count those for obvious reasons.

who started a thread has nothing to do with the topic. I was telling the guy to lay off with the how many has Massillon won on the field nonsense. everybody knows its zero. doesn't matter.

in fact in Massillon, Paul Eugene Brown created the phenomenon of high school football as we now know it, for better or worse, the Ignatius and Moellers of the world became what they became because they wanted to be like Massillon.

and the 24 State titles Massillon claims are just as valid as any claimed by winning the post season tournament, in reality because those schools got exactly the same thing Massillon got for its 24 AP or mythical titles, whatever you want to call them.

which is absolutely nothing.
