Richmond Heights by 5Noticed the state poll shows Ignatius with 2 losses; who were the teams?
Yes, you can use this link for the upcoming game.Does Centerville video broadcast its home games?
Ignatius' SIBN (student broadcast) typically does video broadcasts of its game (home and away) - however, for this game on Saturday and the Flyin' to the Hoop on Sunday, SIBN is doing only an audio broadcast.
Appearances might be deceiving this season. Sure, Centerville hasn't dominated since game one like in years past. However, the season is a marathon and not a sprint. The Elks this year will be the most dangerous come tournament time. This group is trying to find its identity after the loss of All-State and IU starter Gabe Cupps. They may be a little inconsistent, however they have wins against #10 Beavercreek and #3 Moeller. In addition, their schedule is brutal.Centerville is still pretty good, but they don't appear to be the same elite team as they were the past couple of years. They beat Eds yesterday by 2 points, but they also did beat Moeller recently. The Cats face 3 much stiffer tests in the next couple of weeks; Lutheran West, Lutheran East and Oak Ridge Academy (FL team, nationally ranked).
Elks lead 39-34 at halftime. Sounds like a good game. The Elks can really shoot the ball.At the end of the 1st Q, the Elks lead St. Ignatius 27-20.
Tied 72-72, going to OT as Quinn Woidke hits a 3 pointer at the end of regulationWhat a game, going down to the wire.
Elks lead 70-69, 3:43 left
Agree. Both are final 4 teams and evenly matched. See you in MarchGreat game. See you in March.
St. Ignatius 94Who won and what was the final score?
Quinn is so good and so is the other guard #23. 2 absolute gamers!Tied 72-72, going to OT as Quinn Woidke hits a 3 pointer at the end of regulation
Not only wildcat faithful, but any lover of Ohio HS hoops. The kid is a flat out baller. Very crafty finisher around the rim and he’s deceivingly quick with a nice IQ. He went right at Oak Ridge tonight from the jump. Very confident and poise from what I’ve seen so far. Looks like he will go on to have a great college career.Woidke is special and I advise any Wildcat faithful to catch him in person over the next couple of years. An athletic guard that can dunk but also can stroke it from the outside with good vision. His ability to finish amongst the trees in traffic reminds me Kyrie Irving finishing in the paint.
Crafty AND deceiving… LMAOOOOO I’m guessing he’s also the first one in the gym and the last one to leave. Does he also have “sneaky” athleticism? Not only wildcat faithful, but any lover of Ohio HS hoops. The kid is a flat out baller. I only mentioned the dunking because I haven't seen many guards at Ignatius that can dunk in game that also can hurt you from the outside with a pure jumper. I have seen many opponents of Ignatius have that arsenal though lol.I’m not sure what you are getting at dude. I didn’t comment on his work ethic. No one is saying he’s the best in the state. Another poster said that he can dunk which I don’t think is necessarily worth mentioning because from what I’ve seen it’s just been rim grazes. I don’t imagine he has any poster dunks lol but yes he’s fast with the ball but does not look like he would be. I would steer very clear of comparing his finishes to Kyrie Irving lol but he finds ways to finish over taller defenders around the rim. Very confident and smart player that keeps his composure. Again my sample size is small but this is what I’ve seen in him. I’ve seen you on the RH threads so maybe you from NEO region and know a little more about the kid. But it’s hard to believe my assessment is just nonsense as your response seems to imply.
