Looks like Paul Tessler's place is for sale. Guy was considered a good teaching pro and had a following. Maybe heading into retirement?

They actually turned the place into a halfway decent course when they dumped the Bob o Links Golf name and layout. Tough business to be in these days.
Course MGMT has become a very tricky proposition. The cost factors of personnel, equipment, and materials to maintain a decent track are getting way out of wack. My guess is there are more to come as the younger generation really isn't picking up the game and the old timers don't generate the income needed to turn a profit. So now does a lousy course like Chenowith get more play? Do Stark County golfers travel further? Either way I tend to think golf as a 5 hour slog through 18 holes might be a dying sport. Maybe Al was right.
