Mahomes throws a lot of INT.

He's exciting but he takes alot of unnecessary risk.
IMO this is a positive attribute not a negative one as long as the TD to INT ratio remains at or above 2.

QB's like Cousins & Tua seldom put the ball in harms way yet by every measure they're inferior to the top four young QB's in the AFC: Mahomes, Allen, Burrow & Herbert. A little gunslinger is a necessary ingredient in having an elite QB.

Have to give to either Herbert or Burrow. Mahomes is having a weird drop off with INTs. Seems like teams have figured out some thing and his style is catching up with him. Whether he can adjust remains to be seen

I like Hebert as well

He took too big of a contract

I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the young ones (except Baker) … all of them will be good … the older ones could have 2 or 3 more good years … just doubt after that.

I disagree. You can sling it and still limit INT's.

The best teams turn the ball over the least.

I went with Mahomes but it was close w/Burrow. Mahomes got the edge bc he’s had more post season success and has a stronger arm.

Something s wrong with him in these last couple of games, KC should have lost yesterday as Mahomes looked just ok again. He is missing passes he usually completes with ease, under throwing a lot of them

Like I said as long as the TD/INT ratio remans above 2 guys like Mahommes and Allen are slinging it and still not throwing a lot of INT's.

He also should have had 2 INT's that were flat out dropped. On the other hand the kind of defense teams are playing against Mahomes and Allen will crumble if either team can find a truly dangerous RB.

But that’s negating their best weapons and they won’t stick to the run game. He just looks very uncomfortable for the first time in his career

To be succcessful in the NFL, a great QB needs to be surrounded by talent to get his potential. It isnt like in hoops, or even baseball, where you can put up huge numbers with garbage around you.

All we MAY need to look at is: The Benjamins.

Wonder how much wiggle room there will be in Mahomes contract status and if players will accept less than top dollar to play with him.

His cap number for 2021: 7.4.
2022: 35 Million
2023: 46 million.

and 40+ pretty much through 2031 with a few 50 million plus.

He has some good talent around him, but I believe for them to have sustainable success they are going to have to draft VERY WELL to keep this train going to take advantage of rookie contracts.

Burrow and the boys are solid for the next few years, and that is when they need to hit it big before agents start filling their heads to go get the $$.

Joey franchise will be in Zinzinnati for the next decade unless he gets hurt again

Yea, he will. What I'm getting at is that they have their talent under wraps with good contracts for a few years before they start commanding big bucks. That is when it gets tough with the cap, and egos.

I got what you’re saying, I’m just glad the worm has turned and the Bungles have the best QB in the division for a change

Barring injury, he will be the gold standard, not just in the AFCN, but in the AFC and likely the NFL in general over the next decade.

If that translates into playoff and SB wins.....shall be determinted but I expect a win this weekend.

Stated in another thread....but did purchase playoff tix for the boy for saturday....and he is 0-8 in attedance for Bengals games so if they lose........
