I read that Bock was an assistant at NV before Evergreen. I'm going to assume he lives in the Sylvania area? Would be the only reason to take over that program. I'm guessing he's getting a pay raise as well.
 
Evergreen talked to their OC yesterday about being HC not sure,if they will have a job opening I'm assuming so but again it is late in the season.
 
Evergreen OC ended up being offered the job. One of the only moves to allow for continuity, I'm hearing it is being met with mixed reactions with a few kids threatening to not play. Hopefully they will come around and stick it out.

That community can't get out of it's own way. What did they expect the school to do this late into the year? If kids are quitting because they are hiring a guy that's already been there for two years than they would have quit no matter who was hired.
 
LC offensive and defensive lineman, Hunter Spangler (Jr.) just won the state shot put championship (D3). 62 feet 1 inch.

Also LC offensive lineman and linebacker Max Walker (Jr.) is competing in the disc this afternoon.

LC Sophomore Jaxson Lawnizak (TE and LB) is competing in the finals of the 110 hurdles

All will be key players in the fall.

LC Senior Brady Gessige finished 5th in the state in the shot put.

Love seeing multi-sport athletes. Schools with good football programs usually have a solid track team, as they should.

Week 2 home with Hicksville and Week 7 at Bryan are their best chances. Last year they were within 10 against Hicksville into the 4th quarter.
Against Bryan, they couldn't get things going early but scored the most points on a league team they had all year.

Considering that Swanton has already done the 0-10 twice the likelihood of it happening again is greater than the chance of LC going undefeated winning a state title.

One interesting point is that LC losses in the playoffs 6 of the last 7 years was to the eventual state champions.
