Green Bulldogs Football 2025

It was 27-7 Green at halftime. 28-27 McKinley was the final.
Yep that was it. My bad 20 not 21 point lead. Either way I remember seeing the score and was thinking well Green is going to blow them out and then I seen the final come across the scoreboard at PBTS and thought what happened lol

Trust me, we couldn't believe it either. But then, the very next week Green, with a sophomore QB making his first career start, came back from a 28-10 deficit in the second half to beat GlenOak (who would go on to beat McKinley). Halfway through the GlenOak game I was wondering if Green was going to go winless in the FED. But the Eagles, thanks to their many penalties in the third and fourth quarter, had other ideas!

The Bulldogs have had some wild finishes under Geis, some going our way some not. But it's never boring.

I'll probably be at the game on the 29th against Painesville Riverside, rooting for the Bulldogs. Being in the Cleveland area now, I totally understand travel costs being a prohibitive, but I selfishly wish more of the Stark teams played an out-of-conference in the Cleveland suburbs.

The Town Tavern is popping tonight. I take this is a good sign that the BULLDOGS will put together another winning season.

111 days until the state champs come to town. The Dawgs will be ready

Spring sports are all finished for Green, so all attention is turned to the gridiron.

1994 GHS graduate Heather Kozar is excited for August, and so am I.

Hilarious...I think she is married to Tim Couch
I was told by someone who was employed at GHS in the late 1990s that Heather gifted signed copies of the Playboy cover to some of her former teachers.

On the Green High School wikipedia page she is one of only six to be listed as "notable alumni." Mark Croghan, Christian DiLauro, Dick Goddard, David Lough, and Maxwell Moldovan are the others.

The Green FreedomFest at Boettler Park was a success. Big crowd this evening, including lots of younger Bulldogs, and the haze made the park hauntingly beautiful. Far more impressive than Jackson's fair last week, I would say. Almost certainly bodes well for the Dawgs this Fall.

Looking forward to the week 3 matchup at Tallmadge.

The Blue Devils have been looking for a new rivalry since the Bulldogs left the SL.

Copley and Revere are each others' rival. Tallmadge's best rivalry would probably be Cuyahoga Falls or Kent Roosevelt. Neither is there yet. If Falls could improve, it could be a fun rivalry. The Johnson Brothers are the ADs at both schools.

Maybe Field now too. They seem to be growing.
