An amazing success for NASA. Thank goodness Perseverance didn't end in a disaster. It hasn't flown yet but this is good news:
The first helicopter on Mars phones home after Perseverance rover landing
The Ingenuity helicopter has reported in from the Red Planet.www.space.com
I can't wait to see the pictures this thing gets once it's airborne.
Let's hope the James Webb Space Telescope will be a success... if it ever launches...I mean when it launches. I don't mind the delays, as long as they get it right. I would hate to see a $10 billion flop. What could go wrong trying to put a space telescope in orbit over 900,000 miles from Earth? There will not be any Space Shuttle missions to fix out-of-focus optic lens problems this time.
