Thanks. Just wondered because there was lots of talk from Mass fan as this being the best Tiger team in 10-20 years. Figured this years Lancers must have been your best in 20 too.

Massillon, Ohio — Massillon’s Washington High School football program faces sanctions after an investigation found several recruiting violations.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association conducted the investigation.
According to a release, several student-athletes were recruited to attend Massillon Washington by its head football coach, Nate Moore, along with other assistant football coaches and boosters. In addition to a public reprimand, the penalties include a $5,000 fine, probation for three years and the suspension of Moore from coaching the team during the 2016 postseason playoffs if the team qualifies.
The OHSAA says it does not release names of student-athletes, but one of the student-athletes has been declared ineligible for the entire 2016-2017 school year due to recruiting, while another student-athlete is ineligible for the first half of the 2016 football season due to not meeting an exception to the transfer bylaw.
“The OHSAA and our member schools take the recruiting bylaws very seriously,” Dave Gray, OHSAA Interim Commissioner, said in the release. “This is an opportunity for Massillon Washington to learn from its mistakes and take a leadership role as one of Ohio’s most historically successful football programs. If further violations occur while the school is on probation, the school’s membership in the OHSAA is in jeopardy.”

LaSalle was the GCL doormat for years as a D1 team. Then the division switch happened and Nate Moore won a title...in D2. Does Massillon still think that the Moores will bring the ever elusive title to Massillon? Or was Nate Moore in the right place and the right time to be a state title winning coach?

Analogy: The emperor has NO clothes. Taiwan (I mean the parochial / private schools) are having the formula, for their success EXPOSED. Since they have no defense, for their unfair advantage (i.e.: CHEATING). They have to destroy those that have posted facts, they can't dispute. : Districts determined by diocese (multiple counties OR countywide teams), that result in all-star teams, whose advantage has caused teams, not to schedule them AND a discussion of separate divisions, to equalize their advantage. OF COURSE they have to engage in character assignations, since they have no other defense.

Somehow, this comes to mind, when seeing the posts of the trolls!

When you are drawing from 55 districts, to a few, only a dilutional person, can even attempt, to propose that a even playing field exists!

From the Cantonrep article....Outside of Massillon, which has a reputation for attracting transfers that dates back to Paul Brown, Stark County doesn’t have a lot of schools that get outside athletes.

That's one reason why Canton Repository writer Joe Scalzo is so disliked in Massillon. He writes the truth.
 
Not to mention that story is well over a year old. Funny to read some of the comments from the article, I wonder how Wakefield feels about it now that he had 2 mckinley transfers playing this past year. Hypocrites !
