Democrat Cities' Violent news (#4?)

Adams says he can’t get meeting with Biden as thousands of migrants stream into NYC: ‘It baffles me’

Mayor Eric Adams said Tuesday that he’s baffled he can’t get a meeting with the White House to talk about the Big Apple’s burgeoning migrant crisis — even as thousands of asylum seekers arrive in the city every week.

“The federal government said to New York City: ‘We’re not going to do our job — you do our job. You take care of 4,000 people a week, Eric, you and your team,’” Adams said at a press conference.

“Those who should have been helping us in government — every step of the way, [they] just critiqued us,” he lamented. “I’m not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel from the federal government.”

Hizzoner also said he’d met with President Biden several times about the issue — back in 2021 and 2022.

But he claimed he hasn’t been able to set up meetings since then, even as the number of migrants streaming into New York City has soared.

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu’s home is ‘swatted’ on Christmas Day just weeks after hosting controversial ‘no whites’ holiday party for ‘electeds of color’

Boston’s party-throwing mayor faced some uninvited guests on Christmas Day when police banged on her door in response to a hoax shooting report.

Michelle Wu was swatted as she sat at home with her family less by a malicious caller than two weeks after she was dubbed ‘Wu Klux Klan’ for throwing a controversial ‘no whites’ party for ‘electeds of color’.

The caller told police that he had shot his wife at the $850,000 house in the tony Rosindale district after coming home to find her cheating on him.

Moments later the Democrat mayor answered her door to find police with guns drawn and two ambulances outside.

‘For better or worse my family are a bit used to it by now, and we have a good system with the department,’ Wu told WBUR

They aren't prosecuting, that's the point that sailed right over your head.
BS. Crime stats are not by prosecution. Murder is murder no matter if there is a conviction or not.

For the month of September 2023, New York City saw a 34.2% drop in shooting incidents.

In September, the NYPD continued to make hundreds of gun arrests – 413 arrests resulting in 550 illegal firearms seized during the month. Overall, NYPD officers have effected 3,353 gun arrests and seized nearly 5,100 illegal firearms through the first nine months of 2023. Since the start of this administration, police have arrested nearly 8,000 people for illegal gun possession and seized more than 12,200 illicit firearms – each of which will never claim another victim. (THEY HAVE PRIORITIZED THINGS THAT REDUCE CRIME)

The data showed decreases in each of the four violent crime categories. Murder was down 27%, rape down 16%, robbery down 5% and aggravated assault down 4%.

“These trends are proof positive that our smart, strategic investments and strong local, state and federal partnerships are making a difference in neighborhoods and communities across the state,” Hochul said.

In 2022 and 2023, Hochul spearheaded changes to the state's bail laws through the state Legislature, including a provision this year that grants judges more discretion in setting bail in a wider array of cases.

Through the first quarter of 2023, index crime arrests are at a 24-year high – fueled by a 15.0% increase (12,576 v. 10,933) over the first quarter of 2022, and a 7.9% increase in March 2023 compared to March 2022 (4,343 v. 4,025). Arrests for these most serious crimes are up in every New York City borough, for every month of 2023. Overall arrests for March 2023 were up 12.3% from March 2022 (19,027 v. 16,939), and up 23.5% for the first three months of this year (54,576 v. 44,199) – representing a four-year high.

Arrests are up for serious crimes because they are targeting serious crimes and not waste as much time on petty crimes. . Crime down and arrests up for serious crimes. Win Win.

documented shooting incidents, you mean

Don't believe your lying eyes, but this jerk-off's link is gospel lol

You don't think they announced the undocumented shootings that I noted, do you ? Why did you post that crap ? Garbage in, garbage out
What about the undocumented murders? I just thought it would be funny to post crap from the Police. You know you can't trust those idiots when it comes to crime. Their arrests are up just for fun. They just like to make up crap. They just decided that some years they will have higher crime rates and some will be lower. Just randomly. For fun.

Ever hear, "It's not who gets the most votes that matters, but who counts the votes."?

Same thing. 🤷‍♂️
