Two of the final four in R1 D1 square off on Friday night at Byers field. The winner takes on the winner of the Medina v. Cleveland Hts. matchup for the region championship the following week.

No word yet if starting QB Casey Bullock will be back or not for the Eagles. He was initially hurt in week #4 at Elder where he left the game missing the next two games against Massillon and River Rouge Michigan. He returned in week #7 against Ignatius, but was injured again in week #10 against Hoban where he left the game and has not returned since. Here's Norm Weber's blog summarizing the Eds games to date. https://sehseaglesfootball.blogspot.com/

Season results from Joe Eitel's site.

Would love to see a competitive game, but not counting on it.

One team has talent and discipline and one team has talent and potential.

And this isn't a subtle socioeconomic, race jab. If McK could keep their wits in the process of a 48 minute game, they'd have finished those games they'd like to have back.

High School football produces some unforeseen results. Maybe this game will be one those that go completely against what we all think will be a blow out. You never know. Remember…… On any given Friday night……

As info, this game will be televised live in the Cleveland area by Spectrum Channel 61/ COX COMMUNICATIONS Cable system. Go PUPS! Good luck to all, sam

If the Bulldog Oline can provide adequate protection for QB Rode, Canton McK can put up a few points and stay competitive for 2 quarters.
In any event, looking for a St. Ed's win of 31-10.

Eagles 35-7, but I think Mckinley has a few moments. Mission BBQ before the game, no injuries, and a safe ride out of the Parmatown parking lot to all.

For those coming to see the Eagles for the first time here's a YouTube clip on some of their players. This is after the first game.

First the Armstrong twins both going to Ohio State. Then Ben Roebuck going to Michigan. And last is Logan Thomas going to Notre Dame.

I think the Bulldogs D can keep the game close for a little, but hard to imagine the offense moves the ball much against this defense. It'll lead to a tired defense and the game to get out of hand soon after. As long as the Pups fight, and play disciplined football it'll be good enough for me.

On paper, it looks like a blowout. Play till it blows for 4 quarters. If Mck even manages to keep it close, that is some good momentum going into next season with something to build from.
