Just came from the Ohio State game. Would like to hear everyone’s thoughts. They definitely play hard and pretty good defense.

I talked extensively today with a friend who was at the game and he was raving about the whole team's performance. He said we looked like a much improved shooting team and that everyone played very unselfishly.

UC basketball players signing autographs today at homecoming. I’m sure it’s a NIL thing, but still love to see this! Clifton is definitely buzzing.

UC dominated the buckeyes in every aspect of the game. They even had more turnovers than them I think. lol

It was an exhibition game, so you have to take that for what it is worth. Plus Bradshaw (transfer from UK) didn't play for Ohio State.

I was impressed by UC though. They will also be a deeper team than what they have been in the past. No offense to the Vic lovers, but it was good to see him not in a UC uniform any longer.

It's been a long 223 days (since the end of last season) but Bearcat basketball has finally returned.

We kick off the new season with Arkansas Pine-Bluff who are projected to be one of the worst teams in D1 for this upcoming season.

Hopefully the Bearcats get off to a fast start, build a commanding lead, and we get to see plenty of the bench guys in the 2nd half.

Hard to take away anything from this game due to the talent level difference. Good to see a lot of ball movement on offense and Jizzle hits a buzzer beater which is always nice

So far so good. Bearcats play with a frenzy. Fun to watch.
Agreed! I know it is early and the competition hasn't been to stellar, but it is definitely fun to watch.

Bonus, two of our real impact players haven't even seen real action. (Thomas and Skillings Jr.)

Real question.... when Dayday returns, how will this impact Jizzle's playing time? Jizzle has been lights out to this point! I hope Miller has a plan to put both of them on the court at the same time.

It sounds like Wes is dead set on easing Day Day back into action as he's been handled with kid gloves so far.

I'd guess that Day Day is probably looking at 18-20 minutes/game off the bench if everyone else is healthy.

Makes sense. I have always questioned Miller's subbing patterns but this year he has the depth to play a lot of guys

NKU smacked us in the mouth for 25 minutes or so, then our depth took over and Simas bailed us out by hitting some crazy 3s.

Rebounding left a lot to be desired but otherwise the 40-minute effort was pretty composed. Good win.
