It’s going to take a special group with an influx of talent. The talent has not been “state champion level” in awhile (aside from two years ago in volleyball).
 
For those who haven’t seen, more of Trey/Helix butthurt. Congratulating the Elder baseball team on back to back District Championships really triggered him.

He’s been banned from the Elder forum at least twice. Asked to get off the Moeller forum by Moeller posters, so he obliged. Ridiculed so badly on the St X forum that he left there. Has no friends left on the LaSalle forum. Asked to stop posting on the main Yappi baseball forum last week so he moved his garbage to the Debate forum where it is as obscure as Waldo. His rhetoric is old, redundant and is the work of a person in dire need of help. Truly a man searching for something.

He’s a sad little man with serious problems. I can’t imagine waking up everyday and thinking to myself “I’ve got to spend 1-2 hours today bashing a high school.”

Hopefully he can find some help.

It’s fine that he’s critical of Elder, it’s the obsessive nature of it that goes overboard.

If you go to the game Thursday and have a little time you should go uptown from the stadium to the Bagel and Deli Shop and get a bite to eat. I went there when I was in Oxford a few years ago and wasn't disappointed.

Can confirm place is real good. Ton of options as well for all palates. Good food, nice weather, and hopefully good baseball on tap for Thursday!
 
Does anyone know if the game on Thursday will be available online to watch? I'd love to go but have my property law class on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

I could be wrong but I believe now that they’re in Districts, the OHSAA has the rights to broadcast, not the schools.
 
Heard this through a deep grapevine, so take it with a grain of salt. Apparently Mason is planning on saving their #1 Hanley for Moeller on Friday. Risky move as they did this last year against Elder, and Hanley never even got a chance to pitch in the regionals.

They would be dumb enough to repeat the same mistake twice. I will believe it when I see it though.

Mason has a squad this year. Moe Mason tomorrow is going to be a heavyweight bout to see who will likely win state. Proud of our boys. Fought back from being completely counted out by almost everyone to making a Sweet 16. Lot of exciting players shined this year for the future as well. Thank you Seniors!
 
Very smart decision by Mason to bring back Hanley to close out the final 3 innings. Elder still hit Hanley well, but couldn’t overcome the 1st inning hole they dug themselves. Still, a good season after a rough first few weeks to start the yr.

I have a hard time seeing Mason keeping the Moe lineup in check without Hanley on the mound.
 
I think Elder was right with Mason minus Hanley being the difference maker. Moeller would have been another uphill battle. This team had a great season. 22-9 and District Champions. Final 16 team in the state.

They made Mason sweat a little when they cut it to 8-4 but let’s not rewrite history, Mason won that game comfortably.

What is true, Elder hit the ball well even vs Hanley. There wasn’t a hitter as good as Vaughn in this lineup but I think top to bottom, they were a better hitting team compared to last yr.

The way it’s looking right now, Elder may have just lost to the State Champs. 3-0 Mason going to the 7th.
