Not sure of the conferences in the northwest corner of the state, but in the southwest region the SBAAC National is a primarly D5-D6 conference that also has weeks 4-5 open, smaller rural communities. They aren't the best at football by any means, but those schools often have to play teams bigger than them those weeks as there is extremely limited options in the area for schools their size. I could see the TRC Teams scheduling those teams maybe. Travel will be long though, but I'm sure Williamsburg and Bethel-Tate would be decent options for games for Milton, Northridge and etc. Just my recommendation, or maybe I am being bias and want to see some of my league schools face off against your Bulldogs lol.The future looks strange in the money sports. Boys Tennis at Milton will be playing everyone that is anyone. I highly doubt all sports will play DPS schools or MBC schools. Football playing the DPS is a tragedy waiting to happen. You have a huge culture clash ( when Northridge doesn’t want anything to do with them…) and you could be asking for trouble. IMHO.
Milton needs to go looking NOW weeks 4-5 anywhere but the DPS.
Playing teams up north is always a better situation. These Dunbar, Meadowdale, etc schools are full of roughnecks. Milton kids aren’t ready for that. Most TRC schools aren’t ready. Again, just my opinion.
I get why Riverside left but Bethel, really?
But as for the other Dayton area leagues with weeks 4-5 open, the ones that come to mind is the SWBL Southwestern and GCL Co-Ed, and that has to be an extremely hard pass for the TRC schools for obvious reasons lol. So the TRC teams may have to travel a bit to get those weeks filled if they want to avoid DPS teams.
