2022-2023 Three Rivers Conference thread

So MU fans were perfect in this situation? It was all VV to blame?
idk if you can read or not. i clearly stated parent v parent altercation also i said mu parents didn’t take it well. did i say mu didn’t do anything? no they retaliated. should they of? probably not but you’re like cnn twisting things that was never said 😂

MU has a reputation for acting like it's not their fault, they were innocent, and playing victim.

Sorry....it's true.

here’s what happened, things got chippy (obviously it’s mu and vv) one kf
your key players lost his cool and started acting out and it got a reaction out of the crowd. then with loser mentality the parents from vv started cussing. so mu parents do not take it well. after the game our ad and principal escorted our students out and parent v parent altercation happened afterwards.

Thank you. I was just wanting to know what happened. Been around VV fans enough to realize they aren't angels. Sounds like a typical high school basketball altercation. Parents should not get involved.

agreed. parents shut up all around

I have been talking about the strength of Piqua over Troy for a long time, but calling Troy the JV is a stretch. Troy's top 5 would be favored over 10 of the Piqua teams. The top 4 at Piqua is much better than the top 5 at Troy, but once you get through those teams the middle is similar and the "bottom" at Piqua is better than the bottom at Troy.

Having only two brackets makes the sectionals tougher because there is nowhere to go to avoid the top teams, and you would want to hide from the top teams at Piqua.

Troy is very much JV compared to Piqua this year like the past years

The East thread needed to go bye-bye. The stuff being discussed about Enis wasn't appropriate here.
Must have missed some of it. They better be carful, Tipp isn't far away. I wouldn't wanna play in some toxic Environment. He is to talented to be wasted by bad leadership

Neither is Troy Christian. That could be a powerful lineup.
Sitting the back half of your senior year, assuming no move, is tough. Of course TC has already been involved in that once by a kid from ME.

@Blazer99 Assuming Richmond Heights stays D4, nobody in Ohio D4 is sniffing a state championship. But for the fun of it, how would he fit in with a team that consistently runs offense and shares the shots? Penrod is by far the most talented kid on TC but five kids have attempted 100 or more shots. Enis has attempted over 300 the last two years and nobody else but Roeth has shot 100.

Adapt to Troy Christian system. No other choice. Still a weapon I don’t think they turn down. If Richmond heights wins state again this year, I could see them getting bumped to D3 for “ competitive balance“ whatever that is anymore.

I agree they should, but that is not how it works. Their enrollment will be adjusted by the multiplier for transfers, if they have any. Enrollment was 98 plus 21 for CB last year. I don't think they have any new transfers this year so, if that is correct, that 21 would be the same or less this year.

Cant imagine he would wanna sit though.
Not sure of his family living situation (rent or own) but a move into another district does the trick in most cases. And if the mom feels he is being mistreated by the coach and school....that would help the cause.

Lack of size hurt Miami East a lot tonight...#44 for Preble Shawnee probably should have scored 25-30 points sans missing a handful of layups.

For a big chunk of this game Roeth and Shrout struggled to score while Enis kept East afloat while also being the main reason Shrout was not scoring. Draw your own conclusions.
