Trevor Ariza was injured and out atleast 8 weeks. He had ankle surgery.

Lakers have 5 players injured.2 out with surgery,one bone bruise to knee.

Lakers need to be patient.

The Warriors beat the Lakers 121-114 to go to 1-0.The Lakers are 0-1.

Curry had a triple double 21-10-10.Lebron went for 34-11. AD went for 33-11.

Westbrook only scored 8 points.

Russel Westbrook always starts the season slow and then turns on the jets.

Ariza-Ankle surgery -Out 2 months
Horton-Tucker-Hand surgery-Out 6 weeks
Nunn-knee Out one month.

The ESPN/ TBS/ TNT narrative is always go going to be the Lakers will be near the top in the west. That's the way it is, they pull alot of eyeballs.

That said, this Laker team is not going to contend in the west. They are incredibly old, thier best players will break down. Mello is only taking up a spot of someone who could really help this team in the future. Russell is the worst fit for this team and he and LeBron will have falling out. LeBron is playing at about 70% because that's all he's got left. He plays next to no defense and he really limits his drives to the basket, which has been his thing for the past two decades. They'll probably be a 6-7-8 seed and have two-three significant injuries late in the season and fizzle out.

A.D. also had 17 rebounds.Westbrook had 33 points 10 rebounds and 8 assists.

Lebron James did not play.He has a sore ankle.

The Lakers played without Ariza,Horton-Tucker,Nunn,Ellington,and James.

Curious as to why you update us constantly about the Lakers. Are you just a big Lakers fan? A Lebron fan? Thanks CantonKid.
 
Lebron James is ruled out vs OKC tonight do to ankle injury.This injury is a fluke.

Desmond Bane fell into James right leg after scoring a layup,causing James to go to the floor.

Anthony Davis went down with a right knee injury late in the fourth quarter.

Davis is listed as questionable for tonight;s game.

The Lakers have 5 players out tonight including James and maybe 6 out if Davis doesn't play.
 
The Lakers blow a 26 point lead and fall to OKC 123-115.A.D. had 30 points.

Westbrook had a triple double 20-14-13

Lakers coach Frank Vogel said Kendrick Nunn getting hurt was a "Big Loss".He is a good 3 point shooter and av 15 points a game.The Lakers got him from the Miami Heat.He got a bone bruise on his knee.

He will be re-evaluated in 2 weeks.

Ellington will be back soon.Horton-Tucker out a month.Ariza out 7 weeks.They are all fighting for minutes at the same position.Nunn is the most talented at that position.
 
The Lakers beat the Rockets 119-117 to improve to 5-3.Lebron led the Lakers with 30 pts and 10 asts.A.D. and Westbrook both score 27 points.
