2021-22 L.A. Lakers

The Lakers defense has been terrible so far this year.The Lakers need to get healthy.

Ariza-Out 7 weeks with ankle surgery.
Horton-Tucker-Out 6 weeks with hand surgery.
Nunn-Out 3 weeks with bone spur on knee.
Ellington-Out one week with strained hamspring.
James-Out one week with abodominal strain.


When healthy will improve alot.

Anthony Davis is a top 5 player in the League..................................................

9th in scoring at 25.4
6th in rebounds at 11.9
3rd in blocks at 2.33

Anthony Davis is also one of the best defensive players in the league.
 
Portland beat Lakers 105-90.Lakers drop to 5-5.Monk had 13 points for Lakers.

Lebron did not play and A.D. played 7 minutes with 2 points.

Plus 4 other players did not play.

LeBron will probably play about half the schedule this year, between injuries and "rest".

Westbrook had a triple double 25-12-14. A.D. had 24 points and 13 rebounds.
 
The Timberwolves beat the Lakers 107-83.The Lakers drop to 7-6.

A.D. had 22 points and 8 Rebounds.Westbrook had 20 points.
 
Lebron James is returning soon.....Nunn returning soon also.

Nunn is a good 3 point shooter and averages 15 points a game.
 
Talen Horton-Tucker is just 20 years old. he has a 7-foot-1 wingspan.

He is 6'4" tall and is a small forward/shooting gaurd.

A.D. also had 10 rebounds and 5 blocked shots,and 6 assists,4 steals.

The Lakers are not a good team right now.They need to figure out there chemistry.

They have plenty of depth and Kendrick Nunn and Trevor Ariza still out.

Nunn will probably start aloneside Westbrook in the back court.

But they need to figure out there chemistry.
 
New York beat the Lakers 106-100.The Lakers drop to 9-10.Westbrook had a triple double.

Westbrook had 31 points 13 rebounds and 10 assists.

Lebron James did not play,suspended 1 game.
 
Kings beat Lakers 141-137 in 3O.T.The Lakers fall to 10-11.James had 30 points,11 assists.

Westbrook had a triple double....29 points,10 rebounds,and 11 assists.

The Lakers blew a 13 point 4th Q.T. lead.
 
Lakers beat Kings 117-92 to improve to 12-11.A.D. led the way with 25 points.

Lebron did not play,out with covid 19.

Lakers coach Frank Vogel said they miss Kendrick Nunn Big time.

He averages 15 points a game and is a very good 3 point shooter.

And he is a PG who finds the open man and plays real good off the ball also as a good shooter!
 
Clippers beat Lakers 119-115.The Lakers are now 12-12.A.D. scored 27 points and had 10 rebounds.Lebron scored 23 points and had 11 rebounds.
