2020 Open Dates

Little Miami (Morrow) Last I heard needs a week 2. Edgewood(Trenton) cancelled to fit in Mt Healthy(Cincinnati) league game and Walnut Hills(Cincinnati) the originally scheduled game isnt playing as of now.

Please help me shrink this list and fill in games. This is what I currently have from what I've seen posted from multiple sources. These teams may have a game filled, not playing at all, or who knows what. Many websites may have an updated schedule, but it has become difficult to tell if that's the updated or the old schedule. Please make sure before posting.

Medina Buckeye is playing at Elyria Catholic Week 4 and hosting Valley Forge Week 5. They don't have a full schedule out yet however.

Rocky River is playing at Normandy Week 5 and at Lakewood Week 6. They don't have a full schedule out yet either.

Can someone please confirm? I went off this updated schedule:

radiodaveagain posted that Ohio schools can only play out of state teams from counties that border Ohio. Is Dave Correct or not?
"Limiting contests to teams in the local area or in counties contiguous to Ohio "

Hoban just posted on twitter offering to feed the visiting team and pay them if they come play in Week 1 lmao

And I don’t think is has anything to with teams not wanting to play them because they are afraid of them. Shows what what other AD’s and coaches in the area think about their coach and AD. Not too many other HS’s in the state struggling to find opponents to fill a 6 game schedule. A couple here and there.

Lorain does not plan to play fall sports AFAIK, despite being cleared to do so.

Garfield Heights and Beachwood athletics have been suspended until further notice. Green is not playing fall sports until October 1.

Beachwood, Garfield Heights, and Green have been cleared to play. I believe Beachwood and Garfield Heights start Week 3, while Green starts Week 2.

No it has to do with the NCL disbanding last year and leaving Hoban without a conference schedule and 3/4 of their opponents being out of state and cancelling. Any yes most teams, not all, don't feel the need to test their program against the Knights. They will have their chance on game 7

Most top tier teams do this regularly to secure games. Hoban is no different. As someone like yourself who spent many hours at Hoban events, I wonder why your post ends with LMAO? Axe to grind?

Do you think Hoban would be willing to make that same offer for their week 4 opponent? See they still have 9/18 open according to Joe Eitel.

Hmmmm....?
