I miss those games in the old Massillon gym. There was nothing like it. Also I think they need to go back to playing twice a season but that's just me. The other thing that people don't realize is how many total wins Massillon has. I know both schools have been around but still it's pretty impressive. Are they in the top 5 in wins around the state?
According to the OHSAA: Massillon Washington is #22 in all-time wins.

I have no idea why the twice in a season (home & home) ended. I was on assignment overseas in 1969
and never even thought to ask about it when I returned.
FWIW ~ McKinley used to play Alliance (home & home) for years and that came to an end after 1960.
