I have no idea why the twice in a season (home & home) ended. I was on assignment overseas in 1969
and never even thought to ask about it when I returned.

FWIW ~ McKinley used to play Alliance (home & home) for years and that came to an end after 1960.

Another interesting note: During the 1918-19 Spanish Flu pandemic;
the Pups and Tigers played twice. They split. Mass 20-19 and then McK 35-8

McKinley's season consisted of 12 games (typical for that time)

The Pups beat Green by 12 points and Jackson by 12 points.

The Bulldogs easily the best team in the Federal League.

McKinley senior center Brent Walker was an absolute force in the paint as he scored 15 of his 21 points in the first half to go with 11 rebounds and two blocked shots. Senior Kobe Johnson basically dictated the game with his 6-foot-4 size and passing at the point. The West Virginia recruit finished with 12 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two steals.

I would agree, really strong showing by McKinley last night. Relentless defensive effort and unselfishness on offense. Unless you stub your toe, I do not see anybody in the area beating you.
