Giving money to cities and States to pay off debt isn't going to stimulate the economy.

Put that money into the hands of the working poor and it will be used to buy all kinds of goods and services and truly stimulate the economy. Of course a large portion of that money will end up in accounts of the ultra wealthy like Bezos and then you twits will whine about income inequality and wealth gap and other such crap.

Trickle down? Most of that stimulus money ended up in the pockets of middle and lower class workers. It trickled "up".

Fyi the $2.3 trillion I referred to was actually the corporate tax and billionaire “relief” bill. Not trickle down huh?

Hmmm ...states revenues were up a little 2020 over 2019.....sales tax revenues were down but income tax revenues and property tax revenues were up... so explain why again. ?

If the same bill was put forward by a republican president it would have 50 GOP votes...it is not about policy or helping americans the GQP wants to impede Biden from jump starting the economy and setting up a positive political environment for the dems at the midterms.

Happy a Republican bill might not be perfect but trust me on this it would not look like this sad thing coming out of the house that is suppose to be a Covid relief bill. Tell us the truth what percentage of this bill goes to the people for relief from the virus? Pork can be lean or fat and trust me on this the pork in this bill is nothing but fat.
