Biden is creating a catastrophe

So there should be no inflation, right?
We have demand pull inflation as evidenced by the massive amount of goods we are importing into this country. That is evidenced by the massive increase in the number of shipping containers we are unloading every day. Stuff is not sitting at sea because there is nobody working like your BS narrative. Our ports are processing at all time highs but they could still use the infrastructure improvements that Biden is proposing if you want to meet the booming demand .

From the article...
The Port of Los Angeles has ranked as the number one container port in the United States each year since 2000. In 2020, the Port moved 9.2 million TEUs, the fourth highest-volume year in the Port’s history. The Port’s previous highest annual container volume on record was in 2018, moving 9.5 million TEUs.

Can you provide statistics to back up that 50% figure? If the things are so great why all the empty shelves? Look at the difference in volume in 2018 vs pandemic 2020. Volume is not significantly different. Can't blame it on demand.
"Over the past 12 months, Port terminals have worked an average of 15 container ships each day, up from a pre-pandemic average of 10 ships a day, representing a significant increase in productivity."

Increasing from 10 to 15 per day is 50% growth. it's called math. If the store shelves are empty and even if we are moving equal amounts of goods let alone more, then it is obviously demand that is making the stores empty, Duh.

All evidence points to lot's more demand. It's not even a debatable point. They are at all time highs. You guys are so ignorant.

  • Imports to the United States increased by USD 6.0 billion to an all-time high of USD 283.4 billion in June 2021, as the domestic demand consolidated its recovery from the pandemic hit. Imports were up for industrial supplies and materials, led by nonmonetary gold, finished metal shapes, iron and steel mill products, and organic chemicals.

Do you guys understand why there is a supply chain problem …it is not because there are less drivers … it is because demand has almost doubled … just heard the leader of one of the ports in California … he said last week there were over 100 new arrivals … last year the number was around 60 a week … also he said … getting more drivers is not easy … to get on the docks, drivers need 10 experience … so can’t snap your fingers and have more drivers … I know that you guys don’t really care about facts or truth and will probably answer this with some snarky retort or stupid meme … but I tried.
So you are using the fluke year as a base line on demand? How does it compare to pre 2020.

Wow demand is up from when the world was shut down, you dont say.

Talk about contradicting your self … so let’s get this straight … you are against big government, but it is Biden’s fault because he (the government) are not fixing the supply chain (private businesses) problems … ?????
They caused the problem

God you're ignorant. Smaller ships are now involved in shipping. Just let that sink in.

Demand is up from the pre pandemic average. Get educated.

lol. Give me the metrics on that will you? Love a link on why cargo ships are smaller and by how much.

Are all those tiny ships why imports are at an all time high?
