The issue of our entire social-media apparatus begin turned against the conservative point of view is extremely alarming and bad for society. If you want "unity" you need to drop the idea that you know everything about the universe and anyone who disagrees is wrong

She’s more than kinda conservative, but so what? Look at how terrible the majority of left wing celebrities behave on Twitter.

First off what Pedro posted was truly insulting as it was based on a lie. There was never any intention by the Obama or Trump administrations, both of which placed kids in cages, to exterminate them.

Carano's post represented the conventional wisdom of those that study the rise of Nazi Germany. The question has always been how Hitler could get the German people, a cultured and technically advanced civilization in the mid 20th century, to support the mass murder of a people. I'm just going to allow Disney+ to expire as I won't be watching the Mandalorian anymore.

I'm sure the NFL & NBA owners figured folks would come back - until they didn't.

As far as the right embracing the tactics we hate you're talking apples & oranges. I hate the idea of eye gouging if I get into a fight. But if the guy that jumped me starts gouging out my eyes you can damn well be sure I'll return the favor. What goes around comes around as they say.
 
Many people have jobs where they have to adhere to some sort of conduct that does not bring negative light to the business or where they work.
For the longest time the employees where I used to work were not allowed to wear their uniform's to public events, like their kids athletic event in the evening right after work, because if they acted a fool it looked bad on the company.

I have a job where I cannot say/do many things in a public capacity while wearing my work uniform, nor reference it while doing/saying such things.


I think she liked the attention and figured she can find work if she gets fired.

I like Mando, and will continue to watch.
I only get D+ while the series is running tho.

The left wants compliance with its world view. In cases like this, “individual responsibility” is being true to one’s principles or not getting someone fried because they said something you agreed with

Not really, I don’t want him fired, just as I don’t want Gina Carano fired. It’s not a hard concept. I’ve said many times, I don’t agree with cancel culture, regardless of who it is.

There is a double standard all across the spectrum on many aspects of life, and it will not stop.

She was dumb to continue to push the envelope as it has been going on for a L O N G time.
She needed to shut up and act.

She could have supported what she wanted, and attended different events,but by putting it out there on SM she opened herself up for her company to fire her.


Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Someone says the N word, or trashes the gays, etc their side is relentless in the attacks and companies will fire due to not wanting to feel insensitive.

It is the whole Cramer AIDS ribbon situation. If groups dont come out vehemently against something then they must be for it, right?

It is a freaked up system, no doubt about that and it is not going to change. Companies are too scared to be labeled in a certain way and because some groups are pathetic enough to demand firings/boycotts and such this is the result

There is a lot of faux outrage, no doubt about that and people saying things they dont truly believe because they feel if they 'dont wear the AIDS ribbon' they must not support.

Sorta like the stupid voting sticker. If ya dont wear it, ya didnt vote, right?

There is a way of thinking, and I agree with it to a point in some lines of work I do, that "What you permit, you endorse" and so many companies are so afraid by the woke crowd they feel they have not choice.

It does feel intentional, since she already had a movie in the works from Ben Shapiro. I’m sure it will be terrible. Conservatives aren’t edgy enough to make compelling movies, but Liberals are too big of pvssies to make anything worth watching. It’s a conundrum.

Shapiro is a social conservative, they don’t know how to make good content. Hollywood has become even more woke and far left, now 90% of movies suck balls. Ask yourself, what’s the last comedy you saw that was quotable (ie Anchorman, Hangover). It’s been forever.

I don't know and frankly couldn't care less how consistent a social media site is, because I'm already aware they aren't. Is it surprising to you that they don't actually have any rules? Everyday there is something new showing the hypocrisy or downright scumminess of these companies, and every day there are morons who are just shocked! (Or at least act shocked, they aren't really, just need something to be angry at). These platforms are cancerous, provide nothing of value, and should be completely dismantled.
