2019 La Salle Lancers

Mansfield goes to 6-1 beating Attleboro now 3-3 with a 46-7 win giving Lancers valuable L2 points. Game ended at 2:29. Thanks Hornets

Lancers have the opportunity to get more L2 points today 10/26 with 6-2 St. Xavier at 4-4 St. Ignatius starting at 3:00, 5-1 Mansfield playing 3-2 Attleboro at 12:00 and 4-3 St. Francis playing 1-0 Chamanide (Ontario) at 1:00.
It's helps a lot that St. Xavier got the win over St. Ignatius

Let's start with Level One point system:

Wins over a Division I school - 6.5 points
Wins over a Division II school - 6.0 points
Wins over a Division III school - 5.5 points
Wins over a Division IV school - 5.0 points
Wins over a Division V school - 4.5 points
Wins over a Division VI school - 4.0 points
Wins over a Division VII school - 3.5 points

La Salle has beaten four DI schools (26), two DII (12), and one DIII (5.5) = 43,5 level one points. Joe Eitel shows this total.

On second level points, you use the same totals above on the teams your opponents beat. Thus the L2 total for West is 39 since they beat 6
DI teams, same with Mason with 4 wins against DI teams to total 26 L2 points and so on with all 7 teams LS beat. JoeEitle show the L2 total as 202.

While we have been great out of the gate, and our defense has been solid all year, our second half offensive adjustments could use a little work.

Solid season. GCL Champs is always great! It is time to get ready to take care of business in the playoffs. We aren't going into this one favored to win state.

Not a good thing to get cocky in playoffs: Should never forget 2016 when an strange call by the Edgewood coach canceled a game-winning field goal and instead went for 4th and 4 And did not make it. LS eaked out the win, ultimately winning state

Yes. This. Just like in 2016, LS is coming off an emotional GCL title win in Week 10. Have to make sure the boys are just as jacked for this week as they have been for the past three against great opponents. Look at Little Miami just like they looked at X, Winton Woods and Elder.

I was looking at the official OHSAA final ratings and I was confused about the L2 divisor because Lasalle, Winton Woods and St. Francis DeSalles are drastically lower than everyone elses. Can someone clarify?

Who's getting cocky? Some fans on a chat board?

That ended well.
It really did. It was a fun night for the team. This year LaSalle was a TEAM with some really good, coachable kids. They enjoyed being around each other, all year. The seniors will be missed, but you can see that next year we have kids ready to lead already.

I think WW would have had some to say about this if Moeller or even Lasalle (irony) had won one more game. Great job Lasalle. You earned and deserve this championship

Its also crazy to think 3 of these players have over 53 starts as a Lancer, Bledsoe, Doerger, and Porter all three started as freshman at the beginning of their seasons. Almost all had playing time as freshman as well.
