Question for Lancer posters- keep seeing tweets regarding the Enquirer all decade football team for Cincinnati having “late additions” from lasalle. What’s up with that?

WATSON????? you're crazy sir, also Jaeger and Pierce were TRASH, you forget about Lester and the man. the myth. THE LEGEND VINCE ABNEY
Pierce was outshined by none other than Drew Obert at Ohio Stadium when Drew came in at center and led the team down the field with exceptional blocking and basically won the game by being the best Back Up Center in La Salle history

I would be interested to see if this list changed based on 2019-2020 seasons.

Simple, the LaSalle AD or SID didn’t send the the necessary info to the Enquirer before their deadline. LaSalle Athletic Department seems lazy or lost lately.

I would think that you would have to add Thieman and Branam to the list.
Thieman perhaps.

Branam was amazing and perhaps the best leader at QB, but I'd have him No. 3 behind Kummer and Watson. Hell, a couple of years later I'm thinking Watson at 1 ... the dude was a four-year varsity player, a three-year starter and won two state titles.

I actually have Branam as my #1 or #2
Purely speaking stats, I believe Branam has them both. Plus his senior year, he was basically it on Lasalle's offense (no Payne). Everyone keyed on him and still couldn't stop him. The kid was Offensive Player of the year for Ohio Div 2. The only other person that could say that was Larkin.
The only reason i might possibly move him to # 2 was Watson had 2 state championships.
