One of the big things I had envisioned for Defiance College when I took over as the Head Coach here in May was creating a place for wrestlers in the area to cross-train and improve their skills. For wrestlers around the Defiance area and schools within driving distance, the Yellow Jacket Wrestling Club will be a great opportunity to train in a college room while learning high-level techniques. The club's primary instructors will be current Defiance College coaches, Coach Henderson and Clary. The club will be High School age mainly; jr high may come with permission from the coaches.
The practice schedule will be:
Mondays and Thursdays: 6 pm-7:30 pm
All wrestlers will need an active USA Card membership, a signed waiver, and payment of the $40 fee. This will cover all of the folkstyle season. Drops-in can come for $5 per practice.
We will have an online shop for club shirts and gear through Reshot.
