It's a week late coming, but here were the highlights for the previous weekend.

Friday, 7 February
@ Mount Saint Joseph
  • Shot Put – 45’ 4” (1st) – 45’ 3” PB – Camille Lewis (Cincinnati Deer Park, Jr.) upped her PB by 16 ½” to move into a tie for #16 on the all-time Ohio indoor shot list. Her mark just missed the Cincinati-area record of 45’ 9 ½” by Amaya King (Mason) back in 2018.
  • Pole Vault – 15’ 6” (1st) – Cincinnati Country Day sophomore Luke Schnieber, vaulted PBs of 15’, then 15’ 6”, just 6” off of the Ohio soph record of 16’ 0” by Dalton Shepler (Vandalia Butler) back in 2020.
Saturday, 8 February
@SPIRE – NEOITC Series Blue Division #3
  • Shot/Weight – Avon Lake’s frosh, Rileigh Scarvelli, carved out another pair of wins with her 40’ 6 ¼” & 46’ 8” efforts, respectively.
@OSU – Buckeye Qual #4
  • Pole Vault – 16’ 4” (1st) PB for Garrett Guinther (Sidney,Sr.), moving him to #16 on the all-time Ohio indoor list.

@SPIRE Scholastic Showcase
  • Long Jump – 18’ 0” (1st) – Alexys Sterling (Canton McKinley, Jr.)
  • Shot Put – 45’ 3 ¼” (1st) – Gwyn Lori (Caldwell, Sr.)
  • 4x200m – Glenville & Solon dropped a couple of fast relays with their 1:29.02 to 1:29.23 times, respectively.
  • 60mH – 8.61 (2nd) – Ric’Keya White (Huber Heights Wayne, Jr.) improved her ’24 PB by 0.04 to become = #9 all-time Ohio, tieing her with Collinwood great Christina Estrict from way back in 1999. In Heat #3, Anna Wile (Hilliard Davidson, Jr.) improved her PB to 8.67, good for a 3-way tie for #17 all-time.
  • 60m – 7.53 (2nd) – Heaven Wills (Lakota East, Sr.) improved her PB by 0.05 to 7.53 in placing 2nd, moving her into a tie for #14 all-time.
Sunday, 9 February
@ Ashland “Light Giver” HS
  • Triple Jump – 48’ 1 ¾” Ohio HS Indoor Record !!!!Elijah Harris (Westerville Central, Jr.) – Becomes only the 6th Ohio boy to exceed 48 feet indoors or outdoors under any circumstances. He also had a 47’ 6 ¾” effort that exceeded the old record of 47’ 6 ½” by Del’Mario Hairston (Lake Catholic) in 2019.
  • Shot Put / Weight Throw – Double-win by Brandt Morlock (Norwayne, Sr.) with a 62’ 2” PB shot (#23 all-time) and 73’ 3 ¼” weight win.
