  • Shot Put – 60’ 4” (1st) – David Lorek (Loveland, Sr.) - moves to #39 all-time indoor
  • 1600m – 5:00.88 (1st) – Ava Shepard (Lakota West, Jr.) – fastest time of 2025, = 4:57.93 on a 200m banked track. Teammate Evelyn Prodoehl (Sr.) backed her up with a 5:04.51 2nd place finish!

@ Cedarville Richey HS Tune-Up
  • Pole Vault – 15’ 7” (1st) – Garrett Guinther (Sidney, Sr.) equals his seasonal best.
  • Shot Put – 60’ 7” (1st) – Derrick Taylor (South Point, Sr.) another meet over the 60 ft line.
  • Long Jump – 18’ 2 ¼” (1st) – Ava Reeves (Bellefontaine, Sr.) – improves her best from 18’ 0” earlier this season. Teammate Kylie Adams (Sr.) followed her at 17’ 9” in 2nd.
  • Weight Throw – 47’ 1 ¼” – Anica Rane (Cincinnati Madeira) – Improves her Cincinnati-area record by 1”.
@ Akron Jerome Fields HS Open (300m flat)

  • 1600m – Dublin Jerome pulled off a 1-2 finish between Charles Guerrera (4:17.19, Sr.) & Graham Tyler (4:22.20, Jr.)
  • 4x200 & 4x400 – Vandalia Butler won both events with quick times of 1:29.92 & 3:27.00, respectively.
  • Shot Put & Weight Throw – Brandt Morlock (Norwayne, Sr.) put together a fine weight double-win with his 59’ 1” put & 71’ 1” throw.
  • 200m – 24.59 (1st) – Freshman Ally Brediger (Avon) lowered her best from 24.90 on a 200m banked track, moving to #21 on the all-time combined relative list. Missed earlier this year was recognizing Brediger as the new all-time Ohio record-holder for freshmen at 200m as she took down legendary Abby Steiner’s 25.04 record with Brediger’s 24.90 on the banked 200m at U. of Michigan! Brediger also won the 60m in 7.67 sec.
  • 400m – 56.72 (1st) – Olivia Hudson (Oberlin) wins in a fine personal best.
  • Shot Put – 45’ 4” (1st) – Pickerington Central’s Kamille Smith (Sr.) EXPLODES with a 5-1/2 foot PB all the way out to 45’ 4”, good for #15 all-time indoor!
  • Weight Throw – 52’ 9” – Jenna Olsen (Thomas Worthington, Sr.) upped her PB by almost 3 ft, moving her to #15 on the all-time list.
@OSU HS Qualifier #3
  • 60mH – 8.07 (1st) – Kelvin Crisafulli (Thomas Worthington, Jr.) takes the yearly lead with his PB win.
  • Pole Vault – Grant Harrison (New Richmond, Sr.) backed up his recent 16’ 8” indoor best with a 16’ 6” win @ OSU.

@Baldwin-Wallace HS Meet
  • Dion Sams (Medina Buckeye, Sr.) put together a nice horizontal jumps double with long/triple jump wins of 23’ 4 ¼” & 45’ 0 ½”, respectively. His long jump moves him to #23 on the all-time indoor LJ list, and his triple into a 3-way tie for #20 on the indoor TJ list.
@Muskingum HS Meet
  • Shot Put – 46’ 2 ½” (1st) – Another 46’ plus meet by Gwyn Lori (Caldwell, Sr.) with her win here.
  • High Jump – 6’ 8” (1st) – Aiden Braxton (Coshocton, Sr.) becomes the #3 yearly performer.
@Oberlin HS Meet
  • Rileigh Scarvelli (Avon Lake, Fr.) put together another fine shot put/weight throw wins with respective marks of 40’ 0 ½” & 47’ 5”.

@Wittenberg HS #2 (300m flat)
  • 60m / 200m – Brookville’s Coy Hyre (Sr.) & Wayne’s Jamier Averette-Brown (So.) traded 1-2 finishes of 6.80 vs. 6.83 & 21.54 vs. 21.66, respectively, on the big 300m oval there.
  • 1600m – Both Mick Temple (Pickerington North, Jr.) & Cameron Carn (London, Jr.) went sub-4:20 with times of 4:18.15 & 4:18.64, respectively.
  • 4x200m – 1:29.86 win by Wayne
  • 4x400m – 3:25.10 win by Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller, the #2 performance of the year behind Glenville’s 3:22.42 back in early January.
  • Triple Jump – 46’ 11” by Wayne’s Key’Shawn Garrett (Jr.), moving him to #5 on the all-time indoor TJ list.
  • Weight Throw – Wayne’s Larreon Brodie (Sr.) beats Loveland’s David Lorek with a 62’ 5” to 60’ 0 ½” win. Lorek’s throw moves him to #3 on the Cincinnati-area list.
  • 60m – 7.58 win by Anna Roessner (Ft. Recovery, Sr.), moving her into a 5-way tie for #25 on the girls all-time 60m list, one of those being Heaven Wills (Lakota East, Sr.) who placed 2nd in 7.60.
  • 200m – 24.13 – Coldwater’s Isabella Zahn (Sr.) moves to #5 on the all-time combined relative 200m list with her big PB here, turning back the 24.52 effort by Anna Roessner in 2nd which moved her into a tie for #18 on the same list.
  • 400m – 56.56 PB win for Roessner, improving her PB by over 1 second.
  • 3200m – 10:36.28 PB for Sophia Szolosi (Athens, Jr.) with her win, moving her to #14 on the all-timed combined relative list. Olentagy Orange’s Brooke Chapman was 2nd in a fine 10:53.98.
  • 60mH – 8.65 (1st) – Wayne’s Ric’Keya White (Jr.) slipped over the hurdles in the year’s fastest time, only 0.01 seconds off her PB from 2024.
  • 4x200m – Wayne Regional competitors Centerville & Wayne ran quick times of 1:41.76 & 1:42.01, respectively for 1st & 2nd places.
  • Weight Throw – 47’ 10” (1st) – Anica Rane, for the 2nd day in a row, upped her Cincinnati-area record with her PB win here.

Wednesday, 5 February
@Canton’s Second Sole Series #4
  • Long Jump – 18’ 10” PB (1st) – Canton McKinley’s Alexys Sterling (Sr.) joins yearly leader Isabella Zahn (Coldwater) in a 3-way tie for #13 on the all-time indoor girls’ list.
