Berne Union is getting turf after 60 years of playing on grass. Broke ground beginning of July. First 2 games this season are away so should be ready to go by week 3 if not before. New school opening after Christmas break.

VASJ’s Gutbrod Field is finally having their field replaced with turf and will be ready to hold practices again for 2023 next month. Phase 2 will feature a new grandstand with press box, lights, and scoreboard for next season and hopes to host varsity contests starting next season.

Fenwick is installing a new field. Should be ready for week 8. Our week 1 and week 3 home games will be at Lebanon.

Will there be new stands as well?

Kirtland's new field is on schedule to host a soccer game 8/22. The only new stands will be on the "visitor" side. The home stands will be the same.

VASJ’s Gutbrod Field is finished. Word on the street they are aiming to host their final regular season game vs Cleveland Central Catholic on the shores of Lake Erie once the scoreboard is installed before phase 2 begins. The track and the long jump areas are still being worked on currently.

Does any school have a better view then VASJ. I drove by the school today and walked on the field - it's beautiful. Lots of positives at the school right now with the new atrium, windows and A/C. Go Vikings.
