Fascinating autobiography by Morris, a jazz drummer who helped defined the "new" rock-n-roll sound of the 1950's, and founded the largest talent agency in Las Vegas. Not bad for a 9 year-old kid who didn't speak a word of English when he emigrated with his family to the U.S from Poland in 1935.

Just finished Rome and Persia by Adrian Goldsworthy.

A very readable and interesting look at the 700 hundred year rivalry between first Rome and the Parthian Empire and later between Rome and the followup Sasanian Empire.
