i guess we all are underachievers. WE SUCK! the funny thing is that we really dont. we just have off days, wait to see who wins league fr tennis this year. the soccer team hasnt lost league in 9 years, and well the football team sucks ---. maybe if they got rid of the quarterback that ran away from being sacked it might help, but im not an expert in football, but i'll ask my dad, he played at colerain and then college. all american runner up, lets see what he has to say about Nr's football team. He'll probably say the same thing both of us say, but it's cool. Yeah we'll see who beats WB when we play em at home. I'll let you know how it goes. We play Roger Bacon monday, so we should win. hopefully, if we can pull our heads outta our ---. what else? o where are you from? we're just wondering.
That didn't go too well. After losing to Roger Bacon 4-1 and falling to 2-3 on the year, with all the losses coming against teams you thought you'd beat, do you still wish to question my statements that attitude problems are hurting NR sports or do you have some other laughable excuse ready? You've said yourself you guys have the talent and you're probably right, but if this is all you're doing with it then you're obviously not approaching things properly.
I really wish you could drop this phony code of honor that says, "my friends are always right", because if you understood what killed your football team's season you'd see so clearly what's downing your own team. The attitudes I've picked up from both teams are so similar it's amazing. Why let your senior season go down the tubes when you can just look at the cancerous attitudes on one of your other sports teams and instead learn from their mistakes?
You know damn well that Div 1 prospect Cody Reardon is not the reason the football team was 4-6. I believe he was 5-0 as a starter his freshman year, and he was the QB last year of a team that went 5-5 with 4 of the losses coming down to the last 3 minutes. 5 wins and 4 close losses, and virtually that entire team was back this year. They definitely should have had 7-8 wins this year; instead they finish 4-6 getting their ----- kicked in 4 of the losses and just plain quitting in the final 2 games.
You are correct when you say Reardon takes too many sacks, but that didn't stop the team from doing well in his prior 15 starts that resulted in 10 wins. That issue is maybe 5% of the team's problems. He can't be blamed for an unmotivated offensive line stocked with attitude problems that gave him no protection, 2 talented running backs that coasted all season, a defensive line that let itself get dominated by every half-decent o-line, a horrible, underachieving linebacking corps that talked a much better game than they played, and a secondary too slow to cover anyone with speed (except for Menkhaus who did play well and didn't quit at the end of the year like the rest of his quitter teammates). The secondary was hopeless but the rest should have done much better. If you want to blame a Reardon for their collapse, blame former Head Coach Jerry Reardon for doing nothing about the attitude problems that ruined the season and got him fired.
To answer your question about where I'm from, I live on Planet Earth which is why I have this ability to see what goes on right in front of me. You would too, if you'd drop this ridiculous "my friends are never wrong" attitude and realize those around you aren't always doing the right things.
