No way am I taking McKinley -16.

That said, Lake cannot leave points off the board in the redzone. Against Jackson they missed two field goals, missed a PAT, failed on a two point conversion, had one field goal blocked, had one interception, and also had a TD called back due to penalty (that one actually worked out for them as it just bled the clock and they got it anyway). But the game should not have been in dispute late.

Like Jackson03 said, lake cannot leave points off the board. The offense needs to take care of the football If they want any shot at winning this one. Defense should be able to keep them in it. Hoping for a huge blue streak win and to keep the dream of back to back Federal league champions alive.

McKinley makes to many mistakes to be giving 16 points in fact I wouldn't give 16 points even if I knew McKinley was going to play mistake free football.

I am admitting that I have little to no knowledge of "pasteur.com" or its level of credibility. All though I will be rooting for the Bulldogs, a 16-point spread is ridiculous! o_O Does McKinley have the potential to win by 16? Yes. Likely to happen? Zero. In fact, it would not be shocking to me if Uniontown Lake goes into Benson Stadium and wins the game in a defensive battle. Should the Bulldogs be favored to win? Yes, they have played an overall stronger schedule and yet that have the same record as Lake, 5-1. A more realistic spread would be Canton McKinley by 3 or 4 points, in a 17-14 or 21-17 score. Best wishes to both programs. Hopefully, a nice crowd will be on hand to view this match-up in person. Should be a one of the best regular season games in the entire Stark County-Summit County area for the 2023 season.

Lake and McKinley were co-champ's last season. So, the winner of this upcoming game will have an excellent opportunity for a "back-to-back."

Lake always plays McKinley tough and the Blue Streaks have only beaten them a few times since the Pups joined the Federal League. If Lake keeps this game close going into the 4th quarter they may be able to pull it out.I hate to say it, being a Lake fan, that McKinley should win this one unless they play a very sloppy game. To much talent this week for Lake. Pups by a TD.

I agree. Lake always keeps this game close. They've been able to beat McK 4 times(I believe) since 2004. McKinley has depth that much smaller Lake typically cant hang with for 4 qtrs. Pups by a td....but lake will keep it agame til the end!

This gonna be tough game tomake a confident predictation upon for Smoove. Smoove knows CM is tougher than leather, but Lake been tougher than a steel-toed boot recently, bringin on the defensiveness that Smoove loves to see. Without much reconsideration, Lake should be 6-0, no way Aliiance should have gotten over on them Streaks like they did in Week 1. Smoove definitely thinks the result would be much different if they played now, but as Smoove always say, "Smoove gots to Hit That when the time comes, 'cuz no one ever knows if another opportunation may present itself to Smoove." Smoove will be back in a few days to provide Smoove's Prognostication for this crib-burner. Peace!

Well Lake, here's where the rubber meets the road. I usually want Mck to win 9 games but am happy to see Lake back in their familiar role after a bit of a drought. A win here would make our region more interesting. Good Luck.

I watched Coaches Corner yesterday and Hall said the team has not improved the last two weeks,he didn’t have an answer on why.It’s a long season and a lot of turmoil the last couple weeks has taken its toll on the team as a whole.Maybe being back home will help improve the energy of the boys,I think we need more home games…BAM!

This should be a good game as it always is. I think it comes down to Lake's offense finishing drives. If they can't end drive in the endzone, then it'll be an uphill battle. I think Lake's defense is up to the task, but they also have played a team like McKinley's offense. I think the Pup pull it out. This has always been my favorite game of the season outside of week 10, especially on the road at Lake.

I think it'll be McKinley-27 Lake -20

GameDay boys finally back home,going to have to play a clean game with no turnovers and stupid fouls. Not too worried about the Offense but the D must step up against Lake,they always come to play.Let’s Just Do It Bulldogs… BAM!

Smoove gonna take McKinley in this crib-burner. Smoove hates to do it 'cuz Smoove loves some Lake Cougar-ladies, but Smoove just feel like in big games, Lake coach gets all undone worser than some of the chicks that Smoove gets his Mooves on with. Smoove brings out the bestest in his chickies and cougar-moms, but sometimes they just can't get enough of Smoove and want to get all attached and THAT where Smoove draw that perverbial line on the (insert whatever furniture piece Smoove gets the job done on HERE) and just needs to tell those chickies what is up. Smoove think McKinley gonna have Lake head coach's numberation. McKinley 21-13. Lake Cougar Honeys, Please do not hate on Smoove for this; just GET ON SMOOVE!!!!
