Way to early 2025 All Americans list flip boing

CFB lost a lot of experience at the QB position this off season without a lot coming back in regards to proven talent so Klubnik makes sense. I think LSU’s QB is another proven guy that has a chance to stake his claim. Then there’s a large handful of young guys who could make the jump.

Love is supposed to split carries again this year, no? My guess is he’ll be similar to last year - highly productive but not enough carries to generate the total stats needed. Ditto for Singleton.

Hard to argue the WR choices despite both being true sophomores.

Klare won’t generate the stats needed at Ohio State for TE. Despite Purdue being a complete abomination and especially so in the passing game I don’t think he’ll surpass his 2024 receiving yards mark. Stover was the greatest, statistically speaking, pass catching TE at Ohio State in my lifetime and he didn’t break the 600 mark. From a skill standpoint, I understand the selection.

Also hard to argue against Slaughter (prevented McLaughlin from getting unanimous AA status), Mauigoa and Green. PSU’s G is a good inclusion. I frankly don’t know anything about the Utah guy though.

So far through the offense, not a lot argue with. Solid selections, even if looking back in a year from now they may not be all that accurate.

Defense is fine for the most part but it’s hard to justify the inclusion of the TN DB after Howard threw all over him in his final game AND knowing he tore his ACL in Jan. Even if he makes it back in time to play this year, I imagine he’ll still need a few games to get back to being fully recovered. The Overton selection is one that feels more based on his recruiting pedigree.
