Top players lost:
We lost three huge impact players to graduation.
Olivia Gigax (.360 avg.)

Jayli Vasquez (1st Team NWOAL w/.407 avg., 39 RBI, .951 FP%).

The sheer power the 3 brought to the plate for us will be hard to replicate. We will miss their outstanding glove skills and unprecedented knowledge of the game that helped lead the team last year. They will be greatly missed as all 3 continue their softball careers at the collegiate level.

New impact players:
We have many underclassmen looking to play roles within our roster this year. Anyone could step-up and rise to the occasion on any given day. Jayde Ramos-OF, Kylerr Bronson-OF, Layla Martinez-IF, Bella McGuire-IF and Kendall Horner-pitcher/IF

Final Comments:
We have worked very hard in the offseason to help prepare for what we know will be a difficult road ahead in the NWOAL as well as our path into tournament play. We understand there is going to be pressure that comes with the talent we have returning.

Everyone is working hard on their game as well as collectively as a team. We have some newcomers who are very ready to achieve success. I am extremely proud of how the girls are coming together as a team, but we will have people in new roles and it will take some time to get everyone's skill-sets blending. We will also need the communication and mental conditioning of our newcomers to develop very quickly.

The NWOAL always has multiple threats and great competition so you can never let your guard down. Many teams have key players returning this year and will make every game a very tough obstacle to overcome. Last year we saw great competition between many league teams and it came down to the wire.

In general, we can’t wait for good old Ohio weather to release its grip and get outside on a regular basis. We only hope that our hard work and dedication will lead us to be a strong contender for the NWOAL league title and carry us into a deep tournament run as well. We must prepare well physically and mentally to give ourselves a fighting chance every time we step onto the field.
