Watching bowl games?

What a choke job by Kentucky in this game! Basically gave the game to Clemson

Watching Cotton Bowl now. If this is the way NCAA football is headed I will go to pee wee wrestling tournaments. Between Portal and NIL th.is game is ruined. So do you think going to 12 teams and a playoff will stop the self centered players from skipping games?
 
Ohio State fans at least got to see most of their team play ...but again I don't blame the FSU kids not wanting to play after they got screwed over

Na. Looks like a program who got screwed and told their first 13 games they won didn't matter. Collecting the money while telling ESPN to f off in return

So kids going to the draft or transferring aren't playing in a meaningless game where they can get hurt. And players playing through injuries like Toafili and Farmer got surgery early or are healing to be ready for next season instead of playing in a worthless game

If the program didn't have pride, they'd have folded and not won against Florida and Louisville with their 2nd and 3rd QB playing

Penn State loses to Ol' Miss of the SEC 38-25, but Maryland destroying Auburn 31-7 in the third.
 
And we are seeing what might have happened to FSU in playoff....but not apples to apples because of opt outs. To me, GA and ole miss look heads and shoulders above today. That portends well for Bama, as expected

Um did you miss all the opt outs? I mean in one breath you said it, but then you say this might have happened as if to compare them ?

It wouldn't have happened to FSU if they weren't screwed and were given the spot they earned. The defense was the best in the nation at the end of the year

Judging this team compared to that is a stupid take

How did Auburn look today ? The same Auburn that Alabama needed a muffed punt and 4th and 31 blown coverage miracle to beat ?

Did you miss where I mentioned the opt outs in the post you quoted? I agree on that. But I would ask, if about to be 28-3, with everyone playing from opt outs, what is the score? I don't think the opts outs are worth 25 points in less than a quarter and half

You referenced it but then said it might have happened as if to compare them.... 7 starters out on each side including all their offensive playmakers. Many rotational backups out too. It's not the same at all. .

Well you aren't paying attention if you cant fathom a team with walk ons playing as backups/depth today aren't nearly the same team as the one who got screwed

True freshman and walk ons playing in a scrimmage will do that. Georgia earned this spot by losing. FSU didn't. Don't blame the kids for not wanting to play

It’s like Mike Tomlin always says: “We’re looking for volunteers, not hostages.”

UGA has volunteers. FSU has a bunch of mercenaries and hostages.
