Wadsworth at Twinsburg on Wednesday

 
Playing the best teams provides the greatest benefit for any competetive team. I am not familiar with Wadsworth, but I will guess Twinsburg is not going to drop three in a row.
 
Really the Light? lol.... anyways... should be a fun game. Wadsworth's high pressure/get out and go system will test Twinsburg's PG by committee approach. Twinsburg will be much better in a half-court game, but I doubt Booth will let it slow down much.
 
PG by committee... the interview with Julie Solis seems to make you think there is a problem with girls knowing their roles.......

One thing you need to know for sure is they all know their role is to kick butt. That's the job description for everybody on the committee...

Agree, these games are good for tourney time but, in a perfect world, I would like to see teams at these levels matched up in the middle of the season which would be more indicative of their competitive levels. As we know, teams change quite a bit from the beginning to the end of the season. Twinsburg definitely has the benefit of a tougher out of conference schedule as well as a much more competitive league schedule than Wadsworth (same for last year). On the other hand as best as I can recall, Twinsburg beat Wadsworth by double digits to start last season and had to hold on in Canton by 1 point to advance in the tournament. That is high school ball. When you think you have something figured out, it goes the other way!
 
Saw the Memphis game where Morrisette made that shot to tie it for overtime. How does she make those shots? Reminds me of the game with Wadsworth last year... those shots should not go in but somehow they do....unbelievable...
 
You were entertaining for awhile The Light... not so much anymore :p ... ps why would PETA get involved in a battle between Tigers and Grizzlies? Let nature run its course man ;)

Folks, please check out The Light's profile. Columbus resident. Has nothing to do with Twinsburg. Whoever this person is is just stirring the pot. Ther is always someone that does this. Twinsburg does not talk trash. Yes there are some over zealous fans, but on the whole most are pretty level headed.
 
I'm sure glad Twinsburg fans and opponents have to put up with "the light" this year and not the Suburban league! That light belongs in one of those kid's toy baking oven you got for Christmas:laugh: Doesn't bring a lot of substance, just insecure bravado. About the game, gutsy effort by an undersized Wadsworth team that is not intimidated on a basketball court and also a good game from the defending state champion that has to settle into a new dynamic with this year's players. Twinsburg definitely has the horses but I think they took the Grizzlies too lightly after the tough out of state competition they had last weekend and all the limelight that came with it. Having a let down almost cost them the game and going 0-3 to start the season. Both teams should have fine seasons and will represent the area well at CITC and the state tourney.
 
Twinsburg was outcoached this time and Wadsworth did everything right, just wrong outcome at the end.... Wadsworth should be very proud...

I think Solis might be right... alot of girls are not playing passionate basketball and she sounds like she might be changing some things in the next few games....
 
20/20 at least presented a reasonable viewpoint on the game and doesn't resort to lame emoticons and caps lock nonsense.
 
I haven't had a solid candidate for the ignore list on here in some time... The Light is quickly building his case :help:
