A couple locals recently:
* Bledsoe called into National Camp
* Lavelle scored a fantastic goal in the weekend friendly

Who cares what club they played for, just glad to see some local players make it to the top.

I was wondering when this was going to happen. Well deserved.

Not Ohioans but Jaelin Howell and Cat Macario have also been called into camp and Howell got some time vs The Netherlands. Macario just became a citizen of the United States in October but I'm not sure that she can represent the United States in international competition. I could be wrong about that, though. If she can represent the US she may be the first naturalized citizen ever to play for the USWNT.

It's good to see a youth movement on the team.
