I'm in the process of wrapping up the 1925 Class state results this weekend. There are many scoring errors throughout OHSAA & newspaper results of the day stemming from misreported results in the high jump and javelin throw. It's taken many hours to resolve the scoring issues.
However, I can report to KingHorn419 that he can add another NW Ohio athlete to the winner's circle: Harry Steele of Toledo Waite (senior) won the '25 javelin throw with a 169' 2 3/4" throw that would've been listed as a meet record saving from meet referee, Edward T. Cook (yes, that famed Chillicothe athlete & '08 co-Olympic PV champion), issuing the ruling that all event records were nixed due to "high winds". A silly and capricious ruling given the perspective of history.
