UPDATED (2/23) - 1927 State results - Class A (Big Schools) & Class B (Small Schools) & Class C (County Teams)

I'm in the process of trying to workout the scoring for the Class B of the '27 meet, and there's a glaring problem I'm trying to workout with regard to the listed team winner, Rocky River. I've checked numerous newspapers' results along with OHSAA's own listed event placers, and there's a deficit. There's also a few scores that are slightly off the calculated results, but I can attribute those to "reading" errors of whoever typed up the OHSAA results eons ago. Their website was obviously put together from scanned copies of results typed up long ago, and I think whoever did that was trying to read old newspaper print or microfilm where numbers, particularly fractions, can and do become blurred. Been there, done that myself. However, I'm calculating Rocky River with 18 1/2 points vs. the 22 points reported by OHSAA and lots of papers from around the state. Rocky River is listed as the team champion over the 20 3/4 for Berea. I think the problem may lie with the results of the pole vault. There is a 2-way tie for 2nd place listed, evenly divided 4 & 3 points gives 3 1/2 points for the listed placers of Mercer of Kent State High and Birkhead/Burkhead of Scioto Township. I suspect one of those might be wrongly attributed and in fact belongs to Rocky River. Still digging.

For those of a masochistic bent, you can try to score the meet yourselves. The scoring then was 5-4-3-2-1, 14 events (8 running / 6 field) for a total of 210 possible points scored.

Here is the Class C meet of 1927. These were county-based teams based on athletes from Class B schools who didn't compete in the Class B at state. The mechanisms of how this all came to be are still being researched, but the Class C system lasted for 3 seasons, 1926-1928. OHSAA has no listing of them on their website, but they happened and were recorded, nonetheless.

As always, comments/additions/corrections are always welcomed in order to put out the best information possible.

Please post if you run across the first name of the 1927 Vaulter from Lancaster with last name Poole. I would like to correct our records... only have the last name also.
Darrell Pool(e) - 1925 Yearbook shows "Darrell Pool", class of 1928. Newspaper results from 1928 confirm it was Darrell, but spell his name "Poole".

I already had it in my own Class A results earlier in the thread.
