Unusual potential for SWBL East

Two matchups tonight.. Bellbrook @ Oakwood and Waynesville at Monroe will determine if the league ends in a 4 way tie for first place. If Oakwood beats Bellbrook and Monroe tops Waynesville, all 4 teams will end the league season at 5-3, with each team having split home and home games with the others and all 4 beating Franklin 2 times. Don't feel too bad for Franklin though as the Wildcats, with a win over Dixie tonight could go 6-2 in their non-league games.
Seems unusual in my book.

Untill I dug into the numbers in the SWBL this morning looking at my other post. I had not put together how good the SWBL is. 1 D1, 3 D2's and a D3. Oakwood and Monroe made it to regional finals against each other. Waynesville made it to regionals losing to CCD and , Bellbrook took Miamisburg to OT in playoffs. The only league state wide with 3 teams in the regional playoffs. That's very unusual.

Oakwood, Monroe and Waynesville all state ranked currently and they have to play each other 2 times each and all 3 schools are smaller than Bellbrook who is D1 and played probably the toughest schedule in the Cincy/Dayton area. What a quirky little conference.

Any idea if there is a conference tie breaker? Goal differential between them? Tonight should be interesting with all 4 playing each other with the title on the line in the last game. You could in theory have 2, 3 or even 4 conference champs based on tonight's games. Bizarre!

Bellbrook tied Oakwood 1-1....so depending on what happened in the Waynesville- Monroe game.....Bell could win the league.

Bellbrook wins the league with a goal on a corner with under 5 minutes to play to tie as reported above. Congrats to the Golden Eagles.
