The Teays Valley volleyball team faced a tough opponent in Newark, ultimately falling 3-0. Despite the loss, TV coach Amy Horsley praised the Vikings' resilience and improvement.

"Newark's consistency and powerful hitters made them a challenging opponent. They deserved the win, outperforming us in every statistical category except errors. I'm proud of our girls for fighting and never giving up."

Standout Performances:

Allie Carte led the offense with 8 kills, while Brianna Helser added 7 kills on 12 attempts with a team-high .500 hitting percentage. Tessa Bradley and Emma Minton excelled at setting, serving, and defense, each recording 11 assists and 1 kill.
