Vikings Sweep Groveport, Focus on Upcoming Challenges
The Teays Valley Vikings secured a convincing win over Groveport on Tuesday, dominating in three sets (25-18, 25-17, 25-12).
The Vikings had a 95.9% serving percentage, outpacing Groveport's 83.7% and 4.5 blocks per set, compared to Groveport's 1.0, and committed 35 errors, 15 fewer than Groveport. Aubrey Helser excelled as a middle hitter, delivering a notable performance. Jenna Pence and Allie Carte led in kills, while Brianna Helser added crucial points. Jenna and Noa Craft led the blocking.
The Vikings' stats were led by Ellie Tatman's 12/13 serving with 3 aces, 15/17 serve receive, and 17 digs.
