The Teays Valley volleyball team put up a fierce fight against Canal Winchester on Tuesday, but ultimately fell in a five-set thriller. Despite the loss, the Vikings showed significant improvement from their previous matchup against the Indians.

"We played more consistently and were more aggressive and smart on offense," said TV Coach Amy Horsley. "I'm proud of our competitive mindset and hustle. We maintained positive energy throughout sets two and three."

However, the Vikings struggled in the fifth set, committing 10 errors, including three missed serves and four hitting errors.

The Vikings showed notable improvements from their first matchup against Canal Winchester.
